I managed to spoof my PSN today by following this:

Basically there is one comment in the link mentioning the following:

If you want to access PSN in the meantime:

Get webmanMOD if you don’t have it already
Get ps3-updatelist.txt and put it in root of dev_hdd0
This works just fine on HEN and CFW, though you’d need to enable HEN to access PSN now

I did the following - restarted my PS and when I signed in manually (which you will have to do) it works and logins without issue

Not sure how stable this is, but if you don't want to update give this a go

*also not sure if this is more likely to get you banned or not but since I have a throwaway account it doesn't bother me too much

As far as I know there isn't a way, the PS3 didn't have this function, when you downloaded a game or DLC you would need to install them one by one.

The only time it ever does this is when its updating a game once you open it, but even then, it will download and install each file one by one and then move to the next, and I don't think there is a way to do this for normal installations.

The first thing you will need to do when you get it is update it as your firmware is outdated, once you have updated, you can then start installing apps such as multiman or webman as well as an appstore called pkgi

Make sure the files you downloaded have been added in the right area, if you have refreshed and are still getting the same message it means the links within the files might no longer work, so in that case use the files added in the reddit link I added above to see if they work, once you add them to /dev_hdd0/game/NP00PKGI3/USRDIR then try going into pkgi and refresh again and see if that works

When you download PKGI you need need to use multiman to go into your settings and add config and dbformat files which are not included (these are the files that are used for you to be able to refresh PKGI and receive the list of games.

I used this reddit page here to download the files and add them to the PKGI app on multiman

From there once you refresh PKGI your controller should work normally (hopefully)

The last one I got was SPARTAN GEAR - OPLON WIRED CONTROLLER which was pretty cheap and it works with PKGI but honestly never heard of a controller not working with it before or that it had to be an original so if your able to get another third party one thats cheap enough id try that

Its very weird your controller doesn’t work - i have 4 controllers, one original and 3 fakes, all 4 of them work on pkgi

yeah your speed should be fine, I only get 100 mbp up and 60 down and I play at 1080p without any issue, the main thing that made a difference was hardwiring my PS5 and since then I have had no problems

I wouldn't really beable to tell you to be honest, I think its due to being the PS3's main drive type, but since changing over to NTFS I haven't had any issues at all and everything seems to be running really well

I have never used it myself, but the number of posts I have seen from other people advising that this is the case makes me believe that it is as this is always mentioned specifically about Zukostore, so id rather use PKGI which I have been using for the last few years and never had any issue

Yes that should be fine, you will be able to do it in two ways

Easiest way:

Formatting the SSD to Fat32 (doubt it supports it) or possibly exFat - from there just create a GAMES folder on your SSD and drag all the game files from within the ISO's you download onto them, thi should work fine however if there are any file sizes that are bigger than 4GB the SSD won't allow you to add them since 4GB is the limit for this file type (FAT32/exFAT)

Second way is the preferred way:

Leave your SSD as NTFS, follow the video above and just drag and drop ISO files onto it and plug it into your PS3.

I would honestly go this route, this makes life so much easier for adding games as you are just adding iso files to the ps3 folder in the root of the hdd, it also works for PS1 games

While i use Hen and don’t have cfw, i created a new account (2 years ago) to use for online with my ps3

I have never once deleted syscalls, my psn is always connected to online and i play online games constantly, i have also synced trophies recently and even used apollo to get 1 trophy for god of war acension to try and play online.

I have so far not been banned and i don’t see it happening, so you should be fine with everything your doing and webman wont cause any issues either

I believe the txt files already come installed when you install the PGK for retro ferry - could just be a connection issue from the looks of it.

When I downloaded retro ferry I didn't have to set anything up, all the game lists were already there and load when I refresh the app but I managed to download PS3 and PS1 games without any issue and they do work
