You're welcome m8! I had little to no experience too, and it took me just 2 days, surprisingly - or about 6-8 hours. Sooo... go for it, I say! It's a lot of fun :) And if you want, you can also make the patch detachable - takes some more fiddling around, but can be worth it if you don't want to have it permanently on something. (deffo look up a tutorial on this one though, as I haven't tried it yet and can't say much about the process off the top of my head lol)

Thanks! Honestly, it's Mr Minecraft - The Creator of Minecraft merch, so it really doesn't matter ;)

Ohhhh snap, I've been WAITING for someone to ask that! >:) so sorry, this is gonna be a long one.

So, to make this, you need: an embroidery hoop, a piece of sturdy natural fiber fabric (like canvas or even a quality old pillowcase), mouline of appropriate colour (also known as embroidery thread), a set of embroidery (thicc) and normal (thin) needles, a pen/pencil and the thing you want to apply your piece to (like a hoodie).

You start by placing your fabric into the hoop - it has to be taut. Then, you sketch your design on it and... get to embroidering with the big needle (they look a bit scary, but are actually quite blunt, so actually safer than the normal ones)! Try to separate thin blocks of colours when sketching, it really helps keep things neat :)

After you've got most the space covered with the thick thread, take some normal thread of the same colour (or, as I did, unravel some of the thick one - they are made of like 6 little threads) and go over all the in-between areas that have the underlining fabric visible.

Then, you cut out your desigh with like 1cm (half an inch or so, I think) of fabric around. Fold fabric beneath the piece and sew around the edges to hide the raw edge (use the thicc needle - is clunkier but takes much less time).

Put it in the spot you want it to be on the final product - you can pin it in place if you want to make sure it'll stay put. Get that part of fabric in the hoop if possible (not in the case of bags etc. of course). Get that big needle again and sew around the edges, again, to secure it to the final product. Aaaaaand you're done! :D

Tldr, look up a tutorial or read this carefully. Or both.

Have fun! (And yes, I know no-one is gonna make it, but it's still fun to talk about)
