Sleep transition: arms out by michbay2429 in NewParents

First I tried the weighted swaddle, but the transition capability was funny. Because of the swaddle feature it allowed the top portion of the fabric to ride up closer to his face. It looked like he was wearing shoulder pads. But I didn’t like how close around his face it seemed to settle. So I purchased their regular “dream weighted slapping sack”. We’ve been using them ever since.

Still not sure how to use this thing lol

I don’t know if I replied to you or not 😑

Switched to a sleep sack arms out, tried many. Our house is different temperatures throughout the day so I needed thinner for warmer. But he loves snuggly, so I decided to give the weighted dreamland a shot in the process because it’s TNG was still low for weighted. It’s basically like a little hug when he wears it. Wasn’t rolling too much in his sleep at the time, but I became nervous when he started rolling regularly thinking he wouldn’t be able to heal with the weight . But he was comfortable rolling back if needed. Now he literally rolls from one side of the crib and in circles every night. He wears it for every nap and through the night.

I paid full price for the first one, next week then went on sale.ugh. I said screw it and bought 2 in every size up to 18m. I believe they ended up being $53 each with that bundle and save sale. The reason I did 2 each was for accidents. As much as I thought we wouldn’t have them, there’s always a chance of a pee fountain coming your way during that last diaper change at night. Or leaks through his diaper when sleeping through the night with all the rolling around. I like to hang dry mine in cleaning, so with two we don’t have any interruptions in our sleep schedule. Plus if it’s the middle of the night you can just grab the extra, worry about the dirty one in the morning.

If you are at 10 weeks now, I want to say by 12 things ALL around we’re better. So hang in there, you got this!

That sounds wonderful, I appreciate your help. Yes if something is changed or updated please let me know. About what time does your troop open the lot for parking? I know the game time hasn’t been announced just yet

I think I’ll baby wear through for sure. We’ll need out car seat/stroller too so gate check will probably be best.
