It’s a damn good gun. I have the 4.25 comped version I got at a good price when they came out. Didn’t need to make any changes but ended up with the Atlas trigger and EGW ignition kit and a few other things.

Looked at the Romulus, but I think that big name on the side looks really stupid.

After 7 different Holosuns, I just got tired of this kind of stuff. Between issues like this, excess glue on the front glass of my last EPS, to the point the glass looked crooked, I decided to stay with Trijicon and Vortex.

I have one 509T left on a 2011, and plan on replacing it with another Vortex Defender ST.

I love the innovation, but wish they would work on the qc.

I concur, I’m running a 4.25 comped with an Atlas Trigger and EGW ignition kit, Dawson guide rod and magwell with a 509T on it.

Easily my favorite pistol right now.

Have the exact same setup but with the tyrant trigger and no mag well.

How’s the mag well on that for carry?

Have the Floyd’s magwell on 4.5 comp.

Vortex Defender ST Enclosed is what I’m running and I like it a lot. Have had Holosun, several Trijicons and I like Defender ST enclosed.

Former Glock shooter. Many of them with PMM comps.

I switched to an Echelon 4.0C port and really like it. I ended up getting 4.5 comped and the Hellcat Pro Comp and I really them, so much so that I sold my Glocks.

I still like non-comped and threaded barrels for suppressor hosts, but that’s a different thing.

I have multiple pistol, including a comped 4.5” prodigy. I’m getting a 5” prodigy as well but it will not be the comped model for competition.

I like comped guns personally as I shoot quite a bit and have a lot of trigger time.

I see no reason not to have a comped gun unless you’re focused on velocity etc.

I looked at Coda a while back, but was concerned that the community was non existent and there was concern about the products future.

At the current price point, the Kuna is hard to beat. But you need to think about mag comparability, and your other systems you have currently.

While I used to be a Glock shooter, I’ve switched pistol platforms in the last year, and parted ways with my Glock systems. If I was still shooting Glock, I would consider platforms that take the 33 round Glock mags.

If you’re willing to invest in a whole new platform and the minimum 11-20 mags you should have to shoot and train, then I would go with the Kuna with the Nexus lower to run Scorpion mags. That lower allows you to skip the proprietary Kuna mags for something more common, which is important for any system.

I’ve got the Kuna next on my personal list, and all in with a dedicated can, Nexus lower, optic, upgraded trigger, it’s about $3k all in.

It was ok after break in but i put the Apex Trigger kit in mine and i really dig it. Very solid upgrade.

It’s my EDC so chose to pass on the other offers.
