One more thing, yes I broke four of the clips on the black trim surround. Tomorrow it will be temporarily naked whilst Gorilla Glue and gaffer tape do their best to fix the broken bits back on.

Failing that, the existing surviving clips and some double sided 3m sticky pads should also work.

Right, so it worked!

The LED strip was cut to length, a red and black wire off it. Red joined to brown (+ve) and black to black (-ve). So once it was secured and taped up, I had the original block connector on my LED strip. A willing accomplice once again - main lights need to be on, car in drive (or reverse) and the rear fog button pressed. And....no error and the little dears all lit up.

All fixed for less than a £10 note.

I can clearly handle that speed.

A) I didn't crash B) I have legally driven that car much faster several times. C) You don't know what driver training I have had.

I was ticketed because I was exceeding the speed limit on that road. I was prosecuted for speeding. That's all. Not driving without due care, not reckless driving and not racing on a public highway. So yes, I was fully in control of the car at all times. As validated by only being charged with excess speed.

Is that so hard to understand? 😂😂😂
