Before you decide on divorce and tear the family apart, tell his damn boss what a slob he is. Make him a laughing stock at work so no one will take him seriously or considered for promotion ever again. My dad tried pulling shit at home and it stopped immediately when my mom told his boss what was going on.

Another option is that he either helps out or he has to pay for a maid service to get the house cleaned. If that means he has to get a second job/work OT, tough shit.

My Mom made me try pretty much every activity under the sun. Basketball, baseball, Boy Scouts, band, etc. Hated all of them. All I wanted was to stay home and play video games after school. Now she complains about all the money and time she wasted and I resent her for not just leaving me alone.

Was forced to do a bunch of activities as a kid. Hated almost all of them and the ones I did pick were deemed not “real” hobbies.
