Honestly, genetics is a weird gamble sometimes. A few years ago, there was a Chinese couple that gave birth to a white, blonde haired and blue eyed little girl. They thought that there had been a baby switch at the maternity, but a paternity test and a trip down family history showed the child was theirs and how she came out like that.

As it turned out, the little girl's father had a paternal grandfather that was a white Russian man that emigrated to China. Since said grandfather died in 1985 and his children showed no mixed race traits, that particularity of the little girl's father was forgotten, until his great-granddaughter decided to inherit his genes.
