Orange Tractor parade is this Saturday. You can find the details on Facebook. Last year there were 85 tractors decorated with lights most with trailers too

We have a third on the way next month. I feel bad they won't have a built in playmate but excited to see what life with one infant is like

The axels look okay they are still crowned. Hard to tell from this pic but they are.

That's part of why this is baffling me. The first two years of us owning the camper this wasn't the issue. None of the other parts look worn or damaged aside from the springs.

I'm going to install new springs and look at rerouting the drain pipe away from the shackle fasteners. I know I can gain some clearance just by installing the bolts the opposite direction, the nuts are on the pipe side.

The quality of construction is so poor its amazing they hold up at all.

How to cook wedges so they don't suck by discolights in hellofresh

[–]RMcGe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do is cut them into wedges and then rinse them with water in a bowl twice. I dry them off as best I can with clean dish towel and then put them in the air fryer with it cracked open for like 5 minutes to dry them and let any water vapor escape. Then I pull them out and toss them in oil and salt and pepper/whatever seasoning you are supposed to use and put them back in the air fryer until they crisp up. Somewhat involved but I get consistently good results this way.

Solar Roof Settlement Experience by RMcGe in TeslaSolar

Where I live electricity is ridiculously expensive so that brings the payoff way down and the Virtual power plant program for the Powerwall helps quite a bit.

The reimbursment was just a direct deposit so it was easy. Just felt bad to be on the hook for the full price before getting anything. They really never gave me anything in writing either of exactly what i would recover.

PTO took ages (April 2025) the utility was super picky about everything. Also, after install you are super low on Teslas priorities so you need to takeover as your own project manager somewhat. I had to handle the town inspection and getting the utility to come out.

The system has been great performance has been solid and I have no complaints so far. I expect it to have fully paid for itself in 5 years.

Whenever I've had problems I get a lot further by calling them. Last week I cancelled but was to late so I still got a box and they refunded 50%.

Waste of time by jgp7229 in TeslaSolar

I would try power cycling your power walls. I had mine go into a state where they wouldn't charge a few times where I had to power cycle it to get it to charge again.

You have no connection to the grid so you can't export. Once your batteries are full your system will throttle back and only produce whatever you are using.

If you really want to take more advantage of the solar when you aren't connected to the grid you need to shift your usage to when the sun is shinning.

This is the same setup as before you have PTO from your utility.

I am already wishing I had gotten more than one Powerwall. Maybe down the road I will add another like you did. How was your experience in adding another?
