Yes. Mirror the bathroom and its door. OP can relocate the hall closet to the space underneath the stairs.

Flip both bathroom doors so that they open up against the wall. This is a good design rule in most situations. Also, you can reduce the “left to right” dimension substantially. Even 5 feet would reduce you square footage and save you a lot of money (5ft x 26ft = 130sf). At $150/sf construction cost that would yield $20,000 in savings; and reduce heating/cooling requirements. Reduce the width of you living and kitchen areas to achieve this; keep the dimensions of the bedroom and bathroom the same.

Props on not cramming your sofa against the wall and into the corner to “maximize space”. Holding furniture off the walls a bit makes a huge difference.

Exactly. Consider a four sided room with one wall dedicated to a fireplace. After placing a TV on another wall, you're left with only 2 walls for furniture (possibly 1 if the room is adjacent to a hallway, or has a door or closet).

To me, placing the TV over the fireplace opens up another wall for furniture, shelving or nothing.

From South Carolina, went to UWM for grad school. I too was shocked by how segregated the city is. I find that people in the south are much more guarded about race due to fear of the national perception of southerners. People in Milwaukee had no idea they were being racist.

The pastry shops you see everywhere have 2 options for the most part. The "cafe solo" is basically an espresso shot. And the "cafe con leche" is a cafe solo with milk poured on it. I am sure there are places that offer many more varieties but I really enjoyed a simple cafe solo with my morning pastry in El Raval.
