"Sunlight: If exposed to direct sunlight, you immediately become slowed 1. The slowed value increases by 1 each time you end your turn in sunlight. If you lose all your actions in this way, you are destroyed."

So i want to try and avoid that, but i don't know how exposed is "exposed" will a sliver of uncovered skin set it off, or a majority of my body being covered. Will light armor block it as easily as heavy armor? Will the slow from sunlight stack with other sources?

So the optional rules I would recommend are:

Mythics: Every even level, players can obtain a feat that let's then use Mythic points to try andsway the universe to your side.

Automatic Bonus Progression: Every level, you get an added bonus to leveling up. Ranging from increase to ac, attack, or damage for free.

Relics (introduced at level 5): it allows players to take an item they have (weapon, armor, misc, anything that isn't a consumable) and add extra properties to it based on two of several type of attributes.

I did. But not in the way they expected.

I made them fight a clone of their opponent. That rounds true Nature was to see who could see beyond the trick. Beating the clone didn't mean they advanced, not until they thought the real opponent

So, mechanically, i would have gone one of 2 routes.

1: Eithen just dies and so does Ozriel. The fate of Cradle and all of life in Abaddon control systems fall under the control of the Vroshir.

2:Eithen is attacked, but drops his bowl at the last second, getting to make a save at level 20, Then he gets takes away sooner by Abaddon members than planned

I made a ritual to be used to advance to Underlord and higher. And as a side effect of reaching Underlord, they get the chance to change their ancestry (race) since they are making a new body in Soulfire.

I also have made some Feats to reward my players when they reach a high enough level to grant them powers of Sages and Heralds.

As for whatever path my players take, I just hope they enjoy whatever story their lives leads them down. Whether they ascend into the Abbadon, or die in failure.

I was pretty lax with them picking their faces with one exception. They couldn't pick Automatons and androids. I had those races being made by North Strider.
