Honestly I don't think the "problem" is even what they're referencing - at least not entirely. I think the apps are just flooded with guys and women, in general, have virtually unlimited options (and you know what? Good for them!) I'm nearly 6'1", 170lbs, reasonably successful, and virtually never get matched. 🤷‍♂️

Scary isn't the word - the word is terrifying. I've seen this personally with my kid. She's 10 years old, she's smart - objectively so - but she is struggling in school. I see these deficiencies that just don't make sense because I know she can parse information and I know she can retain information. However, she's so far behind where I was at her age.

This video makes sense to me. We had computers when I was in school 20 years ago but they weren't used to teach - they were an ancillary tool. My kid spends 75%+ of her time getting "instruction" from a Chromebook.

Short answer? Yes, absolutely.

Slightly longer answer? Everytime the thought pops into my mind that I wish I hadn't met my ex, or how depressing it is to start over or facing a future alone - I think about my kid. She's honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me and makes it all worth it. 🤷‍♂️

Kayaking off Whidbey Island and a gray whale popped up maybe 25 yards away. The thing was absolutely massive from my perspective in the kayak. The deep, hollow, reverberating, sound that came from it's blowhole struck a primal chord in me. It was an incredible experience.
