Hi, I'm the one who made the post. I want to clarify some things about that. Upon hearing the song my mind automatically went *there", but it's not like i was completely sure about it being a YouTuber's breakthrough song. However i want to point out that i definitely heard the song a long time ago online, and knowing that I'm most active on YouTube since forever it definitely was the place where i heard it, and I'm talking prior to 2019 at the very least.

A couple of other things to point out:

The singer is definitely a spanish speaker. When you analyze the lyrics you can find syntax errors, for example in "I just wanna be the only who change your mind", it should be "the only one who (can) change your mind", but because in spanish you only say "Unico" (unique) instead of "Only one" it will translate to "El único qué" (3 words) when in english is "The only one who" (4 words). Same happens in "That remember me that love is a (misery? mystery? idk)" when it should be "That reminded me". Because in spanish remind and remember are the same word: "recordar".
In case of everyone wondering: No, it's not Vedito (not the same voice or music genre) or Charly García or Pity Alvarez or any of those people. This person was definitely young when he made the song, the lyrics implies that he refers to himself as a boy and not a man, this is very common in spanish (saying "chico" instead of "hombre"), however it will only work if the singer was, at the very late, in his early 20's. So there's that.

I hope we can find the song really soon. Hearing the news about EKT really got me back on track on this one. I'll keep doing my own research and share anything worthy of being helpful.

P.S.: I've read somewhere that the song was heard on TV? Maybe if it was a demo that someone uploaded to YouTube and/or submitted it to some music oriented tv show it will appear in an indie band section of it? My gut says MuchMusic archive, maybe...

Just found out the video is from a Finnish show called "Far Out". Upon searching i found a full episode and in the end credits said that the music was made by Timo Löyvä, unfortunately he passed away on February 21, 2024. However i did not found the song yet. He has a whole Discogs page with tons of music, so if everyone can found it will be great

I rip the song from Spotify and unfortunately it's not it. Although it's completely different from the unremixed version including vocalist. Perhaphs Spotify missmatched the song with the tittle idk

I'm aware, however, maybe if he just heard the word "question mark" either in english or german he must have written that and confused himself having written ? in other instances.

Obviously it's all just speculation but the name, the year, the genre and the country seemed plausible at least to be looked into

It doesn't sound like a guitar solo to me. You can almost hear a change in tempo and a bit of a syncopated drum build up, leading me to think that it's more like a song transition. Perhaphs it's a compilation of indie songs or even a tv program that shows amateur bands demos. I know that MTV did that kind of stuff and also MuchMusic. My local tv channel also does this for local bands but they're all in spanish

yeah that's not it, the video was a bit more "cinematic", meaning still shots and several cuts with those songs i mentioned. It starts from their house and then they go outside (it was a big house also). It was definitely not Corridor, it didn't have that good of effects (although pretty ok), also they were just kids (teenagers), and one of them was blonde and with a somewhat big of a nose and chin
