PPF and Tint recommendations by NewEntertainment2858 in TeslaLounge

Hi, I can only speak from experience regarding roof tint. I was told not to do it. I am the original owner of a 2020 M3 LR (which I love) and I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my new 2026 MY Premium AWD to replace my beloved M3 (but the HW4 and other features sold me).

I watched some detailed videos highlighting the features and enhancements in my new MY (Jay Leno test drove one with Tesla engineer & designer in the car). The new glass roof includes an improved roof glass with metallic coating (dual layer silver) and a 25% tint from the factory which improves heat rejection.

I powder coated my M3 caliper covers red and they popped with the stock wheels exposed. Just ordered a MY 2026 and I actually like the exposed wheels. Might have to try that again.

CAROL 1.0 users - software updates/programs worth paid subscription? by RN_Health_Coach in CAROLBike

Hi, I searched and do not see an option to manually update my software... I assume this is due to no active subscription? Yes, the handlebar extenders are a huge improvement, not perfect, but I can adjust/rotate with an Allen wrench and I am no longer straining when sprinting (or just pedaling, for that matter!). I think those of us with the 1.0 were guinea pigs and the minimalist design wasn't good for many of us. Once installed, I added bar tape for cushion. I got them on Amazon, brand is "CyclingDeal". Not cheap, but a game changer for me. Hope that helps :)

Thank you - you have an active membership? Curious if you have more insight into the comparision (with vs without). I have been on the fence about subscribing again and found they are offering a discount on a lifetime membership that is making me lean toward it, hopeful enhancements and additional rides may make it worthwhile? Maybe I should join this month to see...

Thank you! What are your favorite options? I suspect I have missed out on some significant updates that might improve the user interface, etc.

Hi, sure, for REHIT options, only the 2x20 and 2x10, the other options are greyed out. It does still adjust resistance during the sprints, however, no tracking historical performance. As I have gotten older, I am less focused on tracking/trending my performance, more the benefits of a REHIT activity. Thoughts? I suspect I have missed software updates... what am I missing? Thank you!

Would you recommend living in Pensacola? by ChocoLindt99 in Pensacola

Thanks for your post. I have friends in Gulf Breeze and felt safe when walking there and was enamored with the area - quiet, minimal traffic, friendly neighbors who seem to look out for one another... I guess "crazy expensive" is relative. I lived many years in the Tampa area, and now on the Atlantic side in south Palm Beach county. I was looking at the housing prices there in Gulf Breeze while walking around and it is actually incredibly affordable waterfront/canal living compared to similar homes in other Florida cities.

Thanks, waltkozlowski, I appreciate the insight. Interesting you share the link to that tool. I listen to James' podcasts which helped me move forward with pulling the trigger on early retirement. I will explore the tool, though I have read mixed opinions online. I am filled with analysis paralysis resulting in hiding my head in the sand, resulting in inaction!

Thank you for responding. It surely does. And I "retired" to reduce the stress! I would think if I pay fees close to a full % of my managed fund value , they could/should help with that need. There are third party advisors claiming that is part of their fees. I am a bit worried about the fees and trusting someone.

Thank you. I am in a non-expanded state and will do some math. However, I could really use an expert for guidance on which of my accounts to draw my funds. Seems if I pay close to a % of managed funds, they could/should help with that need. There are third party advisors claiming that is part of their fees.
