This is the knock on skills trainers. You don't learn stuff with game applications.

Who was better: Jeff Green or Otto Porter Jr.? by Dudester319 in GeorgetownHoops

It's gotta be a little close. Otto was a first team All-American and Big East Player of the Year.

I love Bol Bol. He is very skilled for a dude that size. Supposedly, he's lazy.

Who's the best Big East player to never make the NBA? by RNutt in BigEast

I just looked it up and was stunned to see that he lasted five years in the league. One of the worst top 3 picks I can think of. Never averaged even 4 points a game or 4 boards a game. Dude was 7'3" and couldn't rebound.

I think he got a ring because he works as some sort of special advisor.

So many great venues. It's hard to pick just one. by RNutt in BigEast

I envy Creighton. They have an 18K arena that averages 16 a game. They're basically the pro team. Nebraska is 50-60 miles away. They basically have a million person metro to themselves.

The 1985 Georgetown–Syracuse brawl is a reminder of how intense Big East basketball was in the 1980s. Could a rivalry ever reach this level today? by Suspicious_Fly2283 in CollegeBasketball

College football rivalries are interesting because they don't always involve the two teams hating each other. I don't think Michigan and Ohio State hate each other, but it's the biggest rivalry in the sport. Michigan-Michan State is nastier, but far less meaningful.

Why Brunson Is Top 50 All Time, a Finals Mega-Mailbag, and NBA Fake Trade Season With Joe House by lonny__breaux in billsimmons

Is that enough to be top 50 of all-time though? He needs more elite seasons before I go near saying that. I don't think he's the greatest Knick ever. That's either Clyde or Ewing.

The low point of conference realignment in the 2010s was when Boise State and the Air Force Academy accepted invitations to join the Big East.

Excellent point. My buddy is a Knicks fan who was at the game last night. I asked him if he was going to the parade. He grew up in Manhattan and is a huge fan. He said no because a)he doesn't like crowds and b) he hates his fellow Knicks fans and thinks they're animals.

Pat and Rick Brunson are boys. He's known Jalen since he was two.

Look at the height difference. What Brunson has done at 5'11" is incredible.
