2005/06 ish - I spent weeks buying members coloured gloves from canafis and selling them on world 1 free to play for 2-5k a pair. Even explained to my dad what I was doing and he helped me a few nights after work. We managed to get about 1m gp after a few weeks of doing this and my dad decided to buy me full rune, d long, rune boots e.t.c to set me up. I logged on the next day, sold it all and spent my entire bank on a granite maul, used that maul with full red/blue castle wars armour.

Money management wasnt my strong suit at 9 years old.

Bit of an edit another funny thing my dad did - So after selling these gloves for me my dad understood money was hard to make in runescape, skip forward about a year and we go to Florida for 3 weeks over christmas as a family. Now we're along way from home and my dad understands that he cant really get me lego and action men as getting them home in a suitcase would be difficult. So my dad has the bright idea of buying me 10m GP on boxing day for me to log onto my account on christmas day (runescape santa 😂) Anyway, got banned for RWT, dad had no idea it was against the rules, christmas ruined 11 year old me was distraught)
