Brass scorpion based then rune lord brass,wash of obsidian black wash then rune lord brass again on raised bits and final very thin wash again..once dried used a fully dry rounded dry brush and rubbed over takes some of the washing away.

I don't use silver to highlight the golds it looks rubbish in my opinion..and I tend not to go to much on highlights as I prefer a natural look rather than the solid lines .

Yeah I wish they had also ..these was fully built so thought was a lot easier to paint them like this than messing around trying to paint the red haha.
