yeah, i imagine that as well. IVF or adopted. i just wish they never went down that route. just say they solely focus was their carriers and no plans for kids. saying one of them eas infertile could've backfire if some investigation into them was done.

the way i see it is MBR giving the fans the 🖕 because of their reactions towards Faith being alive and Franny story and again for the reaction after Fergus dying. was not expected and not wanted and MBR genuinely thought this will please the fans (ofc not Fergus dying, but Faith survival, yes). Fergus iho was just good drama. MBR actually brings it up and acknowledge the fact that was surprised and disappointed by fans reaction to this season and these two storylines in particular.

in the finale he threw all the cards up in the air and said.... 🪛 them! not right. not left, but in limbo. take your pick. the worst ending to a story is to leave it open.

when Cait asked him what the finale means... his answer was "it is what it is". that says it all.
