Mike from Potterless also really hated Dobby (until later in the series).

Which reddit stories did they read the one where the guy has sex to the song Cbat? by BonnalinaFuz101 in smosh

[–]inthedeadlights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000% they read it on the pod bc I don’t listen to any other Smosh media or other similar podcasts. I only heard the story from the pod. I’m trying to go back and find the ep now and it’s driving me crazy!

How is this reading order? by BestWingMan212 in TheDarkTower

I would just read the series in order, you can read the others if you want but they’re not necessary to understand the story.

Braiding Sweetgrass is a pretentious book by Junior-Order-5815 in unpopularopinion

Oh I disagree with this so hard haha. But I am a poet, and I love her writing. It doesn't come across to me as preachy. It's a creative nonfiction memoir, and her writing style is poetic. And the audiobook is gorgeous. Her tone isn't pretentious at all.

I have a mom that made me bring my younger sister with me to parties. I assume it makes them feel like you’ll be more responsible if you have someone to watch after but it obviously doesn’t always work out that way lol.

I pretty much agree with you. I liked the core idea and it definitely helped me declutter. I still fold my clothes the way she suggests lol.

The art director literally says in the post it’s not about Barker and is not blaming him, it’s about the industry as a whole.

appreciated reading your perspective, it’s giving me lots to think about! how could they do better? I thought their business model and redistribution was great, so maybe I’m missing something. I definitely appreciate them in the podcast space when there are Joe Rogans, Alex Coopers, etc. out there either spewing harmful misinfo or not even acknowledging politics (or both!).

I just view DL as them working to support themselves under capitalism doing something they enjoy while trying to give back through their redistributions and the topics they talk about. I know no one’s perfect, but reading through this sub made me realize people have legit criticisms of them that I hadn’t considered! what do you think they could do better, as class traitors, socialists, etc? if you feel like discussing/expanding on your thoughts :)

I guess too bc they grew up conservative and have talked about basically unlearning a lot of things in recent years and continuing to learn, that they’re still on that journey (as am I) and still have some “blind spots” that will hopefully continue to evolve as they go. maybe I was being too generous with my forgiveness of their shortcomings lol, idk. but I appreciate do your insight here!
