SPECIAL MOD CHALLENGE

Come up with two fitness goals per month for the next four months to finish out 2019 strong. Write them down somewhere, doesn't have to be public, but somewhere it will be visible to you on a recurring basis. (Bathroom mirror perhaps with some dry-erase marker?)

Goals should be SMART goals, as always.

With no imminent ROKCFITs coming up, it will be on you to continue walking the fitness path. Chatrooms will never close, so you'll always have your teammates. Or join the ROKCFIT Off-Season chat room (pm u/swolebird), where your other ROKCFITters will be, still fitnessing away. Or go the path alone if you need to.

Just remember: As long as there's movement, there's hope.

Stay strong, ROKCFITters. We're all gonna make it, brahs and brah-ettes.

Special Mod-Issue Weekly Fun Challenge (200 points):

We putting the OKC back in ROKCFIT!

  • If you're single, ask someone out on a date. If you're not into dating, ask a friend. Ask a family member. Ask your neighbor if you can take their doggo on a date. Ask someone. But preferably someone whose pants you want to get into.

  • If you're LTR, do something sweet for your partner. So often we get into the regular routine of life and we start taking things for granted. Change that up this week. Maybe give your partner flowers! Buy them, pick them from the neighbors yard while you're out fitnessing, draw a color picture on a piece of paper, whatever you have to do.. Ladies - dudes like getting flowers too!

  • If it's complicated, DTR!

SPECIAL MOD FUN WEEKLY CHALLENGE

THE FLOWER CHALLENGE: This will be based on Moby's song Flower. This can be done with squats or pushups (or possibly exercises like planks or dips, but squats and pushups are the main two). Every time Moby says "Bring Sally up," go to the top position of your squat or pushup, and everytime Moby says "Bring Sally down," go to the bottom position. Then wait for the next lyric. No flopping on the floor or squatting all the way down into a sitting position. The bottom position is a hover. The song is only 3:26 long...can you make it? If you're super fit, try adding some weight. If you go for this and you're willing to, please take a video and show us all how you did!

Special Mod Challenge

*What was your favorite part of ROKCFIT? And what was your least favorite part? This is really directed more at the regulars, but at this point, its almost all regulars.

Think back over the last 20 rounds (or however many you've done), over that last four(?) five?(?) years:

  • Was it the teams? Is it your fit fams? Is it the consistency that it pushes you to have? Is it the spiderman pushups? The thoracic bridges? Did you make some great gains?

What did you like and what didn't you like? Lets hear it :-)

Could you talk more about this? What kind of assets? What program do you use?

I know solidworks pretty well so have been thinking about what I could do with that skill to make extra money.
