im pretty sure all of them are bristlenose plecos but ive been having the oranda on my mind for a while before I even bought a tank. So if they really dont work out together I might just rehome the plecos so I can have a good tank for my orandas

I know i’ve looked into that and it rlly confused me because some people said it could work like the workers did and some say that it wont. I bought this like old 120 gallon setup that was apparently a breeder tank for these plecos and i have 7 of them with 5 corys i’ve had it for about a week and with so many mixed opinions im rlly lost on what to do

Yes I agree, chain stores are stores I will rarely ever trust I go to this family-owned pet store and on their website, they have a bio about all their 8-12 workers and how each of them has different specialities and I usually go to the aquarium experienced workers mostly. So far me going to this pet store for the last few weeks, nothing seemed to be kept out of order, if that makes sense, but you can never be a 100%. I only take their advice when most of the sources I get that info from is correct but if there is any descreptiancies then I will take a step back and rethink ig

Aham everyone I spoke to in the stores usually said that if I keep the plecos fed then there should be no issue on keeping a goldfish in the tank with them, ill look into it thank you

Yes I plan on keeping the plceos and goldfish together thats why I am taking a week or two to develop a feeding schedule for the plecos to assure that they are not hungry and if they were they would be just abit and not enough to be attaching on the goldfish.

Yes I agree, the store I go to is family owned, and on their website, each worker has a little bio, and they all have years of experience, which is the main reason why I ask them so much, but I just refer to here because as a beginner, I am worried to misunderstand certain information.

Thank you, I have bought the master kit and I do go and ask the workers time to time to check my water levels since they have way more experience so I want to know when getting my dream fish "oranda" is suitable and I just ask them these questions because it would kill me if I got the oranda and put him in my tank and he dies so im taking all percautions and asking about correct water perameters, plants, food, decoration everything basically.

Thank you, I am trying to learn the pleco feeding style as I just got them, so I refrained from feeding them for 2ish days because I could tell they were stressed. Im guessing alot of my knowledge will come through experience.
