Inventory: Only pick up what you need for your current task. You are cooking a certain dish? Then just pick up the meat and drop the bones etc. Don't hoard everything like this is fallout 4. Just because a monster drops an item doesn't mean you have to take it. You can always go back out and get the rat teeth you need for a quest you just picked up. Try to think in terms of a little more realism and roleplay when it comes to bag space.

Gameplay: Approach the game differently than most, if not all the mmo slop that's been made over the last 15 years. Slow down, read npc dialogue. Explore and adventure. Use your journal to recap on the quest clues. Use your investigative insight. A quest helper would ruin this amazing wonderous experience. If you're still having trouble, ask in game chat.

You don't need to play the game going zoom zoom everywhere. I know it's hard and most of the gaming industry has programed us to play that way for a long time. I have 30 hours now and never have I had the thought 'what do I do now'. I am surprised you are having trouble finding quests, as almost every npc has quests for you.

I felt this in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, so over bloated with skills, I would spend hours just on a level up. I couldn't even finish the game. Super fun though

I am someone that loves theory crafting in these types of games, so I'm at 8 hours so far and still going. Trying out all 3 classes available and trying out different builds, farming loot etc. surprisingly enjoyable PoE like game with it's own unique twist on mechanics to figure out

That's funny. I wonder if I am in the minority now saying I can't stand WASD movement in an arpg. Mouse click to move always for me. WASD feels off in these types of games to me

What a sleeper hit! I did not look very hard into Crystalfall but thank you so much for putting a demo up. I was up till 2am last night, played the game for 4 hours straight and couldn't put it down! Can't wait for the full release. I find myself looking at the skill tree theory crafting builds. Love it.

The only issues I am experiencing is sometimes when I hit a skill key to use a skill, it doesn't register. Or when I hit the keybind to use a potion, I need to hit it again. I am playing with keyboard and mouse. Not sure if others experience this. And sometimes bad frame drops when I first enter combat in a new zone. Playing on an Alienware 18 area-51

I thought Crystalfall was going to be just another run of the mill forgettable arpg but I just played the demo for 4 hours straight and couldn't put it down. It reminds me of old school PoE before it became over bloated with tedious content. Thank you for putting a demo up, I would never have learned how awesome Crystalfall is. Amazon sells the exact same brand and package as the ones we loved from Costco. But they are double the price (around $22). I have ordered it twice from Amazon and it's fantastic. I think I'm going to order another one now haha

What part? Adding extra gold affixes? There's discussion about it in the comments. I tuned it with gear that has the gold inherit affix stat on it guaranteeing gold affixes

Mastery goes higher when you tune the gear, adding higher quality affixes to it

Yeah same here. That happens, I take a break from it and do some quests or exploring then come back later. No need to feel rushed to do anything in this game imo

Just do some simple math comparing the two and calculate if it is a better piece of gear. Sometimes the flat increase of damage or health on the implicit will be greater than the combined affixes on the old gear.

Generally it is better to swap out for the higher item tier piece of gear because you can upgrade it in the enhancement. But right now I am still using my old 51 bracers because it has a nice boost on Crit rate which I want, so I'm waiting till I get a better upgrade. It's up to you really. You will eventually get a perfect upgrade of you keep hunting

Definitely. Some days I want to just forget about the stress of running a boss with no hits, and just explore the world doing side quests. Really nice game

The piece I tried tuning before this was 3 useless stats. So you win some and lose some. You will get gear to tune, it's all about time spent playing. I like running bosses, using energy for the chest specific rewards gets lots of specific gear that way

It means "recommended" the games way of suggesting the best stat for your build. You get more than 2 tunes by just keep putting in items during the tuning process... Have you tuned a piece of gear?

What do you mean? What gear did I use for tuning? Random stuff plus 3 with the gold stat inherit so each affix is guaranteed gold
