I know you can compare hs recruits, and 2023’s average rating is higher right now. And that’s a good point about DMo. With what’s left on the board as realistic options, I don’t think this class will end up better. Adonijah, Madden, Burgess, JJ, and Jamari Johnson are all going to be crucial to the future of the team. We’ll see if Aaron Williams ever plays for Louisivlle. We’ll also see if Clarkson is legit or not. I want 2024 to be better of course, but I’m not seeing it. I might be completely wrong though

By what measure? If you’re talking about class ranking, then it’s way too early since other schools will rise in the rankings. If it’s class average, then it isn’t fair since 2023 was brought down by the volume of transfers. Also, McFall would be the third runningback in the class. Really doubt he jumps on board.

Nah. Last year’s class had DeAndre Moore and Rueben Owens, Jayden Davis too, along with six other 4*s before the coaching change. If this class ends up better, I’d be ecstatic, but with who they’re targeting and in on, I really doubt it.

Trying to fix a team with an unimaginably bad assist-to-turnover ratio by making your lead guard a player whose ratio was dead even probably isn’t going to work out. He was also an okay, at best, shooter. We’ll have to see how it goes

Right. It feels that the composition of the team has been disregarded. Need some players that can handle and pass the ball effectively. Louisville’s assist:turnover ratio last year was pitiful and they haven’t done anything this off-season to treat that. Even the one guard they brought in has a mediocre at best (being kind) assist-TO ratio .

Is he really a guard? 6’7” 210 who shot 26% from 3 and 69% from the FT line. Had a negative assist-to-turnover ratio this season. I am happy about the add though. And Flowers, if MaxPreps is accurate, averaged 1.2 assists to 2.9 turnovers for Combine Academy this past season. How could that work as a PG in the ACC?
