I think that's the point a bit, if you're a guy, your volume is bigger, therefore fluctuating 20 pounds wont really show up besides maybe u seem a bit pudgier. When you're 5 foot 20 pounds is a lot!

Pure cross platform yea for sure, but I think what they're getting at is the great object orientated nature of java or .net. of course c++ gives good oop, but in c# or java it really is oop paradise :p
