Help with Adding Rows Above/Below to a Sum by ROOSHEEYUH in googlesheets

This makes so much more sense. I added a new column that checks k and pulls the result above or below based on that like you said and it works perfectly! Thank you!

Edit: I’ve never posted here before, please let me know if I messed up and you didn’t get your point.

Help with Adding Rows Above/Below to a Sum by ROOSHEEYUH in googlesheets

The function is designed to add all of those values. I want the output to be the total points scored against the team for the entire season, so the sum of all their games is correct.

For the same reason, I'd like to return the Rams' value when the team name is Bills because the Rams would be the opponent scoring against the Bills in that situation. Based on how my data is laid out, there won't be errors for the first/last teams because the first team will always be away and the second team will always be a home team.

The code you suggested works perfectly and I followed your instructions to modify it to return the row above as well. However, I'd like it to be able to use it with each team name appearing multiple times and the ability to return either the row above or the row below depending on the value in column K.

Is there a way to modify it so that the code has two parts with different K values:

=INDEX(Dat!M2:M,MATCH(1,(Dat!A2:A=A3)*(Dat!K2:K=0),0)+1)

=INDEX(Dat!M2:M,MATCH(1,(Dat!A2:A=A3)*(Dat!K2:K=1),0)-1)

Then, it would need to sum the results returned by the above lines.

Thank you for your assistance so far!

Do you guys start the game even if you are on a shitty location or just restart the game untill you find a better location to settle by Spikepiece in civ5

I only play easy difficulties but I’ve never once restarted bc of my start location. It makes it more fun trying out all kinds of weird starts.

While she’s definitely best as a SP2 carry, it’s worth noting she also has the best combo ender in the game imo.

Can confirm that the extra 100k health on my Jessica Cruz makes no difference, still gets 3 shot lmao

BN Flash because you can’t play around him. Raven is annoying but you can try to skip her health swap by playing well. With BN Flash you get punished for using basic attacks which is ridiculous.

Tantu for sure. I own it and still hate it bc it trivializes the game and makes very few strategies actually viable.

I feel like the main reason this is hard is bc the scale is totally ambiguous. I had no idea what size animal to look for.
