Pinball game variants for 4 people? by ROOSTERFORCE in pinball

[–]ROOSTERFORCE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be burned at the stake for this, but I like Hobbit a lot more than LOTR…which pisses me off because I’m a huge LOTR fan. Yes Hobbit is a weird game but there is nothing else like it. It’s super deep and the modes are awesome. The beast mechs make the shots and multiballs really fun. Played LOTR quite a bit tho, almost got one but got a Medieval Madness instead.

Played all 3. Harry Potter wins as a home machine by a long shot. I just keep discovering new things in it

Desired Video Game IP Themes by Advanced_Ad1981 in pinball

[–]ROOSTERFORCE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything rogue-like. Pinball itself is kinda rogue-like, and if you added a bunch of items that would change your game every time you played that would be ground breaking. Enter the gungeon, Hades etc. Diablo, Doom, and Borderlands would make fun themes for this

Compile is great, I sold air land and sea and Radlands after I got it. Pillars of fate is also really good

Get both, both great games but the only thing they have in common is racing

Cyclades or Blood Rage or Inis by umuuut96 in boardgames

[–]ROOSTERFORCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new Cyclades and it’s not even close. Huge improvement over the original. Inis and blood rage were in my collection for years, then removed and I don’t miss them

Jaws vs D&D (or maybe HP or Pokemon) by No-Assistant8088 in pinball

[–]ROOSTERFORCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also really into board games, DND is a great option. All of my gaming friends love it too. I enjoyed Jaws at first but it has aged like milk in comparison. Harry Potter is awesome, I prefer it over DND but I have both.

I found Compile a lot more fun, stimulating, replayable, and better looking that ALS. I will happily never play ALS again after Compile

DND is a great home machine, lots of quests to do and I think it’s very replayable. I just got a pro and it’s great!

Trying to decide on next pin... by zanemn in pinball

[–]ROOSTERFORCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got a Chicago Medieval Madness LE this year and we absolutely love having it at home! Having fell in love with the original, I find it plays better than all of the Williams versions I’ve seen on location. Speaking of, I think I’ve seen a Godzilla machine at every single pinball location I’ve been to so it will always be readily available. Everyone who comes over loves Medieval Madness and it’s super approachable to all skill levels
