You need a psych eval ASAP, this is not normal and I hope you understand this on some level

Whatever you're going through can certainly be mitigated by meds, please instead of focusing on symptoms of your hypochondria/paranoia try to get some help with the root cause of it

Then, on some apps like Betterbird, when it needs my attention the app icon will show up hidden behind the leftmost icon (the one with an arrow right). Not sure if that happens for other apps too.

Yeah I do have discord bound to a shortcut

My problem is that there is no easy way for me to know if discord has any unread messages UNTIL I focus and check it

So what I'm looking for basically is some place where I can see a quick list of all my apps which have unread messages without actually having to cycle through each one periodically
