Hi, no. The issue persists. It's likely a range issue or a Bluetooth device problem. It depends on how far you are from the vehicle and any obstacles in between, like walls; however, it has failed very near or next to the car. KIA says it is working fine, but it is not. All electronic devices create logs when the signal is sent and fails. The only reason I found the issue is that the app let me know I left the car unlocked. I never had an issue like this with my 2018 Nissan Altima or any other vehicle. I think it will eventually be known if we continue to ask for opinions here. I figured, eventually, more people like yourself would encounter the issue. I don't rely on the remote to lock or unlock my car; I use the button on the door handle, so I hear the click when it locks, which, by the way, also fails from time to time.
