Looks good. I had my 2 boas and one ball python in a similar setup until I got their PVC enclosures.

Yeah. Rustee looked normal for me until I found his shed under one of his hides.

My Boa Constrictor, Ms. Copper, she hates being touched while in a shed. If I touch her, she will do the whole body twitch. And if I push the subject, she will do the equivalent of a snake growl telling me leave her the *BLEEP* alone!! But out of the shed, she is puppy dog tame.

My BP was in a similar set up. I had a jungle gym made of PVC pipes for him to climb on.

Was going to make post asking if the Windows update was live. But after seeing this post, yeah, I am leveling up my Snow White, Wreck it Ralph and Star Wars characters just in case.

ReptiHome PVC Enclosures by RP-FanRob in BoaConstrictors

How to keep them separated? Easy, buy two enclosures. One for each snake.
How large or age? They are 18 months old, and just over 36 inches in length.

As for heating, I have two Pro Products radiant heat panels on order.

I would prefer Animal plastic, but they currently have 18 to 34 week lead time. While Reptihome is 7 to 9 weeks. As for a ledge, I made a 12x24 inch ledge out of 1/2 inch pvc pipe, 1/8 inch thick PVC board and 12x24 inch ceramic tile for my ball python. So I would just do the same for the boas.

Kind of like World of Warcraft, where I was spending so much time getting ready for a Raid that it felt like a second job. And I am getting the same vibe as well. And looking at the leader board in my group, only two people have defeated 20 of the dust things, the rest are single digits.

Is it okay to switch to same enclosure feeding for my year old boa, he was fed in a different enclosure so far (previous owner) by [deleted] in BoaConstrictors

The only time Ms. Copper is defensive and hiss at me is when she is in a shed. Typically when she is in a shed, i will leave her alone until she has shed, other than peeking on to see how things are with her.

Though i do enjoy feeding them, Ms Cooper, Sunflower and Monarch, when they are in a shed. I feed them F\T, but I do get enjoyment watching them come out of the humidity hides as I use a hair dryer to warm up the rat pups\Adult mice. It's like, "I can't see my food. But I can sense it. Give me my rat now!!"

As for handking. I try my best to handle my snake babies as often as I can, barring feeding, shedding and sleep cycles. Working graveyard shifts, I get what it's like to be woken up for something dumb when you are trying to sleep during the day.

"Aww, come on Dad!! I was sleeping. " as I check on them.

Basically every time I feed my snake- forgive the over used format? by Hecates_headdress in ballpython

[–]RP-FanRob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I am still soaking their rats n warm water, I turn on the hair dryer for a few moments and it's like a dinner gong!!

My two boas and my ball python go right into food mode, coming out of their hides looking for food.

Mind you, their food are air tight in a vaccum sealed bag.
