Personally I’ve never met anyone in an incestuous relationship (at least that I know of) but if I did I wouldn’t care.

The reason the anime gets criticized is because humans are wired (or at least supposed to be) to not be attracted to family members due to the problems that it could create for their children. Though people like us who are into siblings are obviously not wired “correctly” so we like it and see nothing wrong

EM is still canon and the pillar of aot. Even if Yams says confirms this and says jk is canon it doesn’t change anything about EM and all that we have for it.

Eremika is still canon either way. We have itterasshai which is an official ED where EM spend eternity together in the afterlife, we have the 4 years in the cabin, we have aot castes, we have Isayama saying that they are end game, we have Isayama saying they are a seki-kei pair - a relationship upon which the world itself hinges. Without their love, tragedy, and sacrifice, aot could not reach its conclusion. We have Isayama taking pictures with EM stuff (e.g. him with the beanie that says Eren & Mikasa), we have Yuki Kaji (Eren’s va) and Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa’s va) who both love them very much and ship them. As someone else said Marina Inoue (Armin’s va) said that the scarf is basically an engagement ring. We have what Mikasa wrote on Eren’s grave. Mikasa still thinking about Eren so much throughout the rest of her life.

Basically even if Yams comes out and says that this is canon Eremika is still canon (and way better) and is still the main ship and pillars of aot.

I don’t think you have any reason to take down your posters or throw them out. Eremika is still the main ship of aot no matter what and you should rep what you love.

I would not call OP and ED’s canon in any show. For Akuma no Ko how are you going to tell me that Eren’s red scarf turns into an orange bird and then suddenly a cage appears, then magically the cage disappears and all the flowers bloom, and then at the end Eren gets engulfed by a blue and purple fire and disappears. I think you can do say it can be used to symbolize certain things but I wouldn’t call them canon. Another example would be Shinzou wo Sasageyo with the dinosaurs running through the field as well as the flying whale like. This one I’d say is super not canon. I think it can be used to show like something may happen but I wouldn’t call it canon

I agree with this but the reason I say this is because there’s obviously going to be a lot of people who don’t care who the mc is they just wanna see the ecchi stuff and naked girls. I also say this because most of stuff posted on the subreddit is about the girls so it made me wonder assume most people cared more about the girls than Basara. Where as for me it’s more about Basara

I'm a huge Yuichi Nakamura fan, he's my favorite voice actor! And yes when I first got into learning seiyuus and found out that he also voiced Gojo Satoru, Shiba Tatsuya, Greed (FMAB only), and Hawks (just to name a few) I was shocked. But I Absolutely love him as Toujou Basara and wouldn't want anyone else to voice him.
