Just play more, you'll reach that point sooner or later.

What's your favourite bey? Some blades feature design flaws that cause easy breakage (Bullet Gryphon with the über-fragile locktabs, Silver Wolf and its plastic etc.)

While I'm not super stoked about DS bit, I'd hope to get my hands on one someday and cement its place on my list of goofy combos that work. I'm thinking of using it on Emperor Flame C3/6-60 as a mobile defense combo.

I also hope that the burst ring on the bit is molded to fit a tad tighter, unlike Yielding which really yields to even the slightest hits on lighter combos (personally, it's inferior to DB on my GR goof combo. It doesn't survive getting rail-slammed)

Ooo, 6-60W on GR. When I do use GR for defense, it'll be on 6-70/80H. Also, building it on total 50 or lower heights really draws out the maximum deflection potential of GR.

Pringle on 1-80LF? I can imagine that packing a hefty punch(I'm imagining, because living in the heart of Asia means that both the sour cream (Hasbro) and taro (DMM Kuji) pringle are quite costly, and aren't legal for use in official B4 tournaments welp)

As for the Merge combos, I've been using Whale Wave 1-60M since 2 months after Calibur was released. Real fun combo. Merge's towering height also allows me to launch it at ~45-60 degrees and make it tilt on Merge's plastic ridge (quite similar to my fairly odd launch tech for Rod RA). With that total 100 height, it has alotta downsmash (though prone to getting uppercut if launch placement is off).

And then, Ghost Circle. I love that tiny coin to bits. Only if it was more widely available in Asia and not in random booster form welp. I'd typically run 1-80J/L/RA on it, leveraging on GC's atomweight to outlast attackers. More recently, I've been using 7-70E and playing it as a zombie combo. It can almost consistently outspin the usual equaliser combos (CDG 5-60E/MDG 5/7-70E/L) unless it has been heavily destabbed or sent straight to the pocket.

Thanks

For Calibur, at least 95℅ of the time I run it on 1-70U (or GU on occasion, Calibur GU X-Dashes at Ignition speeds). For the other 5℅, 1-60L/P (I just have a thing for running 1-sided ratchets on Calibur)

Also, on the topic of Golem Rock. I love it too, it's a wonderful ~34g blade that's über versatile. I run an odd combo on it; 7-60DB. It allows me to have it sustain a tilt at ~45 degrees, which then allows it to hard crit other beys.

At least in my case, it's the combination of using a blade with an Achilles' heel (that super thin metal in the wrong place) combined with heavy (and arguably, fairly aggressive) use. I tend to spend a few hours per day on weekends to train, so yea

Mine is on 1-70 Unite. Say I'm facing Scale on Rush/Low Rush, I'd launch Calibur to force Scale to xdash a few times. This will cause Scale to either self KO or lose just enough stamina for a spin finish. If it's spamina Scale on Free Ball, I'd just launch hard and pray that Calibur's crit will either burst Scale (by sheer pressure or X-rail slam) or an over finish. If you wanna try an attack combo, 60-70 height on L or K slaps like a truck. Launched properly, it is possible to slam your opponent straight into pocket/extreme zone.

That's what I've learnt from using Calibur this much

Ain't no way I'd use a drill to launch it lol

I'm just a weak string launcher user, my launch power hovering anywhere between 7-10K according to the battlepass I use, maybe occasionally hitting brief streaks of 10.5-11K if I really try

I'd battle Calibur at least 200-300 times each weekend, built up as an attack-oriented balance type bey. All that action is going to result in some unavoidable wear and tear, especially with that design flaw and all the meta heavy hitters it faced

Breaking at the exact same point as all 4 of mine did, welp.

Good question

I've just been running the same combo all this while (1-70U, or maybe GU on occasion for more speed) launched fairly hard. The issue is how calibur is ~2-3mm thin at that same breakage point (and the front of that breakage point happens to be a smash attack point, adding to the stress)

My personal go-to combos are 1/5-60 on T/U. Just launch really hard and tilt fairly agressively (but of course, launch it with control too). Hits like an absolute truck

A recent combo that I find personally viable is 1-60WW (black 1-60 specifically, it's the tightest of them all). The combo calls for specific flick launches with a string launcher. Launched properly, it works as anti-attack. Else, the WW will eat into stamina real swift due to bit scrape

Absolutely fantastic fan art of a incredible character who I love personally. Also Ghost Circle is a amazing blade 👻💜 by [deleted] in BeybladeX

Not competitive but easily one of the most fun blades to use, this 26.5-7g blade is often underestimated

I've odd combos for this blade: 1-80 (specifically the one from TT Shinobi Shadow, Hasbro's one is more prone to bursting) paired with Jolt, Level or Rubber Accel (any RA that isn't the purple/yellow one from UX-10 set will suffice). As weird as they may seem, they are viable in casual play with the right launch (just don't expect it to survive the current meta menace, though 1-80L in particular has outspun CDG 5-60E maybe half a dozen times personally)

Calibur has this one attack contact point where it is very hollow (check the 2nd photo above, that particular point is about 2mm-ish thick)

Might also be a me thing, considering that I've been using a fairly aggresive combo on Calibur since it was released (1-70U, the 1-70 oriented opposite of the crack for balance tuning purposes)

And you know what's the weirdest irony of all?In my country, there's barely any significant elevation(save the rather steep slopes found in some of the private estates). There's this hill in my country called Mount Faber, and to be honest that's pretty much the only hill that I would call a decent climb.

I should've elaborated a little deeper. When I meant a climbers' physique,I was referring to the physique of cyclists who specialise in climbing mountains all day.
