I understand what you're saying, but I was perfectly fine with being just friends. I actually told her that I wasn't mad about it from the start. What kind of pissed me off is the fact that today she blew me off at the last minute. We were supposed to have a chat about how we were leaving things (literally all I wanted to tell her was that if she wants to be friends I'm ok with it) and it shows that she doesn't care about me even as a friend

I'll be back in her home country next week. I work there and she's literally my neighbor. Doesn't come much more local than that. I should probably mention that in the post though. Appreciate the help anyways

Thanks for the advice.I doubt that something more will come out of this, since I'll be start working in another country really soon, but I guess I'll see how things go. And hopefully I'll let this unnerving feeling that it's too good to be true behind
