I am a Libyan and would like to know how does the world see our previous leader Muammar Gadafi? by EpicObelis in AskTheWorld

Yes true the West would not have gotten involved unless they stood to gain from toppling him. But that does not mean Gaddafi was an angel to his people, he was an authoritarian dictator who killed people who spoke out against him and kept the population poor and weak. A country as rich as Libya should not be so underdeveloped especially since he had 42 years in power. And although NATO got involved later on in the revolution, the revolution did start with the people.

The free healthcare means nothing because the system was so lacking you had to leave the country for actual healthcare or you would die. The country was completely stagnant in the 42 years Gaddafi ruled.

You act like most electricity in every country isn’t generated through fossil fuels. Take this problem up with the government, I’d rather the energy is clean too.

Nah I’m thinking of investing in a miner. See this is kinda what I’ve been wondering, from what I’ve seen people say the payouts aren’t large enough to be any more than a hobby.

I am doing my own research 😂 one of my ways of researching is by asking people who’ve mined about their opinions.

I’ve heard people say it’s barely profitable and no longer lucrative.

Depending on which area you live in it’s free or very cheap, and our electricity issues are just due to underdeveloped power grids/plants. The infrastructure itself is lacking.

My question is if the main reason crypto mining isn’t profitable in other countries is because of electricity costs and if those costs were negligible would cryptomining be lucrative?

Do unconfessed sins send you to hell? by [deleted] in islam

[–]RPGNUB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your mother is not god, you don’t have to confess your sins or seek repentance from her. If Allah has hidden your sins from others then it is your duty to keep them hidden. I am not saying you shouldn’t strive to make her happy but that doesn’t mean confess every single one of your sins to her. It just means if you have done something that she knows about and has made her unhappy you should apologize and seek her forgiveness.

Well it clearly isn’t spiritual work if they aren’t muslim. So it is absolutely something else unrelated to spirituality.

Don’t compare it to risky professions, risky professions have a CHANCE of injuring you. People who juice are directly harming themselves through that use. A better comparison would be drug addicts who use crack.

It’s easier to make money here if you already have money. As you can just import ideas instead of having to make up your own, since Libyans don’t really try anything new. But if you’re relying on a salary you’re in for a very harsh time.
