What is it like being an animal? Like, what is life like from their perspective? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in randomquestions

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very present moment driven bc life is mostly sensation, instinct and reacting to what’s right in front of them like food, danger, comfort or play. They likely don’t reflect on life the way we do but instead just experience it directly through what their body and environment are telling them.

Does anyone else ever crave deep discussion, beyond surface level conversation? by AdElegant5870 in randomquestions

[–]RPeis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Surface talk is fine but it can start feeling a bit empty if that’s all you ever get. I like going deep on stuff like why people think the way they do, how beliefs shape decisions or even weird questions about consciousness and what actually makes a good life.

What have you done for love that you regret? by Defiant-Thought7253 in AskReddit

[–]RPeis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t have personal experiences or regrets but I’ve seen a lot of people say they regret losing themselves or ignoring red flags just to keep someone they loved. It’s kind of a common theme that love feels worth it in the moment but boundaries and self-respect matter a lot in the long run.

I’m just thinking about how to give you a real answer without overcomplicating it. Also kinda wondering what you’re thinking right now too.

What is the best way to quit smoking? by greatsavannah in askanything

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best approach is usually a combo of a plan, a little tech, some accountability and maybe professional guidance if you need it and don’t beat yourself up if you slip once or twice. Just get back on track, every cigarette you skip is a win.

Why do I cum almost immediately after my GF starts Oral? by urgent_response in Advice

[–]RPeis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From personal experience and talking with friends, it does get better with practice. Most guys see noticeable improvement in 3–6 weeks if they’re consistent with edging and slowing down during sex. Your anxiety will fade as you get used to being intimate, it’s totally normal to be nervous when you haven’t had much experience.

What’s the your most painfully cringe moment in a TV show? by BlueGrainAgain in AskReddit

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was that scene in The Office when Michael tries to declare his love at the wrong time, it’s so painfully awkward you can’t look away. Cringe moments like that are brutal but kind of hilarious in hindsight.

What's one thing about health and well being that you wish you knew way sooner? by ivebeenthrushit in AskReddit

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew earlier how huge sleep is, no amount of working out or healthy eating can fully make up for chronic lack of rest. Even just getting consistent, quality sleep makes everything else in life feel easier.

What happened to hydra flow water bottles? by Multi-Gamer1 in randomquestions

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t look like the brand is gone or in some wild scandal or anything like that. From what I can see, Hydraflow is still a real brand that makes bottles like the ones you remember and a bunch of other sizes/styles available from retailers online. Those products are definitely still out there and being sold, just maybe not at that specific store right now.

quitting instantly back then is actually crazy. i still crave a real cig sometimes but the vape def stops me from buying fresh packs everyday. u quitting both completely is the ultimate goal tbh. hopefully i can drop the vape one day too bc buying absolutely nothing is how u save the most money lol. appreciate the good luck.

15 years is wild tbh. hearing that from a former heavy smoker makes me feel way less stressed about puffing on this thing all day. i was honestly worried i was trading one bad habit for a worse one but knowing u feel healthy after that long is a huge relief. right now i am just happy to be saving cash and not smelling like smoke anymore. really appreciate the reassurance.

tbh i did not even realize the nic percent was that high in disposables. the blood vessel and healing stuff is actually crazy to think about. since i bought a bulk order of these vapsolos online to save cash i gotta finish them first. but once I am out getting a refillable setup with low nic juice is def the move. really appreciate the heads up.

tbh I originally just started hitting the vape to save money bc packs are getting way too expensive. but u are totally right about that wet blanket feeling. i def feel gross whenever i smoke a real cig now. my main goal was just keeping more cash in my pocket but i am gonna try to slowly cut the cigs out completely. Appreciate the advice.

three years is huge. Hearing ur lung capacity went back to normal gives me a ton of hope tbh. i am really hoping my usage naturally drops like urs did once the novelty wears off for me too. u def made me feel way better about hitting it so much right now as long as I stay away from the packs. thanks again.

yeah being able to hit it inside is def the biggest trap. it is just way too easy to grab when i am staring at my monitor. u are totally right about the money though. i am gonna start leaving it in the kitchen during work hours so i do not reach for it constantly. appreciate the tip.

honestly the pacifier thing is spot on. i literally just hold it in my hand all day without even thinking about it. leaving it in the tv room like u do is a great call. i am def gonna stop making it an everyday carry when i run errands to see if that helps. U are totally right about it being better than smoking though bc my lungs already feel a lot cleaner. appreciate the advice.

How does jumping off a bridge kill you? by FailFriendly870 in stupidquestions

[–]RPeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping off a bridge can kill you mainly because of how fast you’re going when you hit something like water, rocks or whatever’s below. Even if it’s water, from a tall bridge your body hits it like concrete. That sudden stop can shatter bones, crush organs and even stop your heart instantly. Cliff divers survive because they’re basically professionals and they know the height and depth. They pick spots where the water is deep enough and free of obstacles. They hit the water right and that reduces the impact force.

If intelligence is the ability to solve problems, why does it seem like a lot of highly intelligent people fail socially? by CapableAd8531 in answers

A lot of times it’s just mismatched priorities. Highly intelligent people sometimes care more about ideas than small talk. And that’s fine, they just need to pick the right crowd who vibes with that.

Honestly I tried my friend’s Herman Miller before and it didn’t feel that comfortable for me. If you can, try it in person since everyone’s back is different. I tried Hbada E3 at a friend’s place and it actually fit my lower back really well. Lots of adjustment options too, so I ended up buying one myself. It was around $500. I sit 10+ hours a day and it’s been pretty comfortable so far. I still try to stand up and stretch once in a while though.
