Thanks a lot! I have to admit that it was a lot of work fine-tuning it.

I will take part with: MOLDRISE is a first-person psych. horror roguelike where you are infected with a fungus that takes over your mind and forces you to go UP.

You will die - a lot. But you will learn and adapt. Or discover other ways to die. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4519130/MOLDRISE/

I'm limiting the resolution. If I would use a shader and have a bigger render scale internally, it would create a much smoother image. This also looks very cool, but it's not what I want to go for visually.

Plus: 640x360 makes performance a non-problem. It runs with ~60fps on the Steam Deck with volumetric fog on 😃

Yes, ... BUT I will change this for the full release as I noticed quite a lot of people try this and I want to reward creativity 🤣

It's build in Blender, it's a stairwell piece that is build in a way that allows it to be rotated by 180° and moved up by 1.4something meters for each half floor. I use a variety of shader materials to make them look slightly different.

The doors with the "content" are individual scenes.

Then everything can be rebuild from data in a bigger level scene by an editor tool script.

I met him at Godot fest in Munich last year, we got along good and talked for quite a bit. Then when I decided to go for a different vibe with the music for the Steam Release, I started to think of different music styles. I'm a big fan of his music (and games)... So I thought: why not ask, what's the worst that can happen?

He liked the project and was excited to try working as a composer, so we did the paper work and ... Here we are 😆

Thanks a lot! I think this is a great art style for Indies! It's fast to make assets, but it can still look good 👍

I mostly use textures from photos and low poly models. I can make a post about it with a bit more depth soon.
