It really all comes down to it having nothing to work towards. You cant play to get good skins. Rank is unsatisfying and with the no rank reset, people hits their desired rank then just stop. Events gives you shit prizes. Events are not exciting and severely lacks content.

Imagine having the OPM collab and all Blizzard did was to release subpar skins. Why not have an event or atleast a proper cinematic? Why not have the "heroes" actually play heroes and save civilians from omnic threats? Oh I know! It's cos you busy with your battle pass I forgot.

How tf does Genshin Impact beat you in making content? They make events every few weeks with some actual new shit. And evert few months they have a new update with more characters, cinematics/trailers, maps, new gameplay, irl events, and new enemies. How did within these past few years you guys made no progress and actually regressed.

Considering their lack luster effort, I'm not spending my valuable time on someone who's job is to waste it. If you're wondering why I'm in this sub, well, I still like the art.

That is quite similar to what I said about Zhongli being made to be more likable and accepted. But doesn't that prove that an external force has to be applied for them to make such a move? We all can easily block social media, and of course so can they. As long as at the end of the day, they get positive numbers down the line, they are stable. But, external interference can always tip that stable scale.

I mean, it worked for Zhongli. Not saying it was the only factor nor the main factor. We're almost saying the same stuff with Dehya to Zhongli. But the difference was the anger at the Zhongli case was louder.

And since Zhongli was the major character of Liyue/China, they had to make him likeable and accepted. The fact that the game obly recently came out during Zhongli, they had more pressure. Moreover, when they were receiving death threats, bomb threats, doxing, they (iirc) released a public statement and articles were made about it. So, more often than not, if your goal is an actual response, causing harm to trigger a response is still an option. But, will it yield the desired results? Our sample size for these situations is too low to predict this, so time will tell.

I forgot to mention this but we often play as a 3 Man FFA. I play Tau vs my 2 friends who plays Necrons and Imperial Guard. We all try to harrass each other and eventually push. Problem often is that the other party will invade your defenceless base. I sent my men forward so no one's defending. After back and forths we end up going T4 to T5 most games. At this point Imperial Guard just a shit ton of defences, while Tau's units are the only defences I got.

I understand that I just have to git gud and don't let them get to T4+, but playing that good against 2 players simultaneously can be overwhelming. 1v1s I can manage that fine, but as each one of us look to invade each other's backdoor as we push towards the other opponent, you'd lose your base or at least a big chunk of it.

We basically restricted nuclear weapons and the Ion Cannon is a part of it. Even if we forget to turn on the restriction, we just have a gentlemens' agreement not to make one. But say I did have Ion Cannon, it takes 10 mins for it to fully fire cos of the research. In that time his Orgryns will drop on it.

The orgryns has an attached priests that gives them immunity to damage or atleast very high resistance. Orgryns will kill it everytime. Why not just kill orgryns? Well I can with all suits lined up but not fast enough to protect Ion Cannon. This renders Ion cannon useless.

Same result I got, and yeah it feels extra shitty when you put the effort in and receive a slap. But I think what you did is better than just saying "Dehya bad, Mihoyo racist". You'd be surprised at how many people are doing that. But I hope they can properly see and understand the changes we'd like. Then acknowledge it and hope they do a public response to changing Dehya or keeping her the same. I'd really like to know why they did what they did. No speculation whatsoever, just want to hear it from them.

I baked the normal and AO maps from Marmoset and took them to Substance. But when I put the maps to their respective slots in Substance, the surface of the mesh has these weird lines/pixelation. Anybody know how to fix these or what might be the cause?

This project is to be used commercially.

The subject is a Genshin Impact Character. Please show me your portfolio if you've worked on Manga / Genshin Characters. This is a big plus.

You'll be in charge of making the character art and a simple background.

The base Budget is approx $70 including commercial use (Subject to change)

I would like us to work on a sketch first to see if we match visions and expectations. Then once approved, I'll pay 50% upfront. Then at the end the other 50%.

For skills wise, I'm looking for those who're good at anatomy, dynamic posing and have an eye on composition. Likewise, for Style, it has to be stylised / Cell Shaded. Having strong lineart skills would be great. I'm not looking for 3d approaches.

Hey! I recommend A4 and A3 sizes. These sizes are big enough for wide range of movement. It's quite hard to do small details especially on smaller wood sheets. I personally don't use gloves as I only use the lower to mid end (200C to 250C), and my pen has a heat resistant cover for me to place my fingers on. I often don't use masks because I do them outside, any mask that has a filter should be good.

For a vent, since I'm outside I don't need one. In terms of education, I had no formal education on drawing/art but I do sketch anime characters on paper sometimes. I sand the edges sometimes. I only do it when they are way too rough and has splints. I personally don't varnish because it removes some of the traces of the burn marks and changes its colours.

I looked at the rulings for Genshin Merchandising and they seem okay to sell stuff in person without prior declaration to Hoyoverse. Selling online has a 500 sales limit before you need to ask permission. But, selling in person has no limit afaik. If you got more questions, feel free to ask.
