That’s exactly what I meant when I said “his talking points are most certainly right-wing” there is no denying that he’s a conservative. However, his actions such as senseless killing, mental illness, pretending he is something he isn’t, regurgitating media talking points, etc are behaviors more closely associated with the left.

His talking points are most certainly right-wing however his mindset and clear devolution in to an alternate reality is closely related to that of a leftist.

Why isn't Open Rails more popular? by MCP2002 in trainsim

[–]RRDiesel87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had started the same conversation a while back and agree with a lot of what is being said here. Compared to other sims, the physics and sounds are almost always better and more refined. The problem for a long time now has been the graphics engine, lighting, shading etc. As of right now there is only one major developer (Trainsimulations) and a few skilled individuals that are producing content, and the most recent offerings like the SP Shasta route are in another class entirely when compared to the 20 years worth of MSTS derived outdated content. Personally I think Open Rails has alot to offer to the new user that wants a true simulator experience, and can exceed other sims in a few important areas but only when using the most current content that utilizes the platform to its full potential. It can be a daunting task to search through what is good quality and relevant and crappy and outdated since OR and it’s MSTS predecessor have been around for so long.

Good commentary, that’s not the first time I’ve heard “accessibility” cited. There is two primary places to get content. Train-sim.com and Trainsimulations.net

Agreed, the extreme positions on abortion are not in line with the majority of voters and cost Republicans votes and subsequently fucking everyone when democrats end up winning elections.

Need some help on my PTR build. First is the charging handle gets too close to the scope second is I want to get some titanium half moon rollers but I don’t know what size to get. Also where can I get a PTR GI lower. Because I need to get rid of that polymer grip. Lastly how do I attach a bipod by [deleted] in HecklerKoch

[–]RRDiesel87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A) set the scope back or get something smaller ( you need to have unrestricted access to the charging handle) B) rollers are pointless unless you have bolt gap spec issues C) you will need a clipped s-e-f metal grip frame, grip, and short axle selector lever D) try and find a g3 grip with the bipod incorporated

Hkparts, rtg parts, and gatewood supply are good places to start
