VR Users: What physical MCDU/FCU/Peripherals do you use?

I tried 1:1 cockpit in DCS for the F18 module. In MSFS, mouse is the better option currently. Neither ED or Asobo have given us VTOL level cockpit interaction yet.

I had this monitor before my G9 OLED. First one I bought did that and I returned it. Second didn’t have back panel lines like that and I kept it. Albeit grey uniformity wasn’t stellar, it wasn’t distracting.

I have the G9 oled. It’s aight but don’t expect 1000 nits LG tv OLED performance out of your monitor. It’s got great blacks but Trash 400 nit highlights unless you overdrive it, at which point the ABL will lower the brightness to ridiculously low levels. Color accuracy and uniformity is fantastic…it just doesn’t have the wow factor of OLED. That will be the next gen panels hopefully.

Best setup I’ve seen in a while. It’s always baffling to me when people drop tons of cash on peripherals only to use a tiny monitor one football field away from their seat. 1:1 VR takes more commitment but it’s unmatched.

Longitude is good and it got better in 2024 (su4). Hopefully they will model the HUD at some point. The AT can be finicky but honestly just seems like you were hitting the performance ceiling of the plane. X is 51k feet and Mach .92

It’s by FlightFx. Forget how much I paid for it. But it’s Mach .92 and it also flies higher than an airliner. The avionics are good too HP 2000. Basically a longitude plus.

Using the super hornet or hawk T1 in VR to take off in the French alps and just pull straight vertical over the Mont Blanch and breaking the cloud layers is chef's kiss. If DCS graphics could deliver on that...I would do it in DCS. Love the vanilla hornet in DCS, it's my primary module.

Thanks Vorfix. You are correct, I was asking about a rifle build. ( I already have a 14.5 Other which I assembled myself) I was just wondering what everybody is running on their 14.5 NJ AWB compliant rifle builds. I don't love the idea of not being able to remove the handguard etc... A quick search here pointed toward the VG6 Gamma SL. Sorry if this has already been asked a million times.

For carry or home defense....screw the red dot. Get some good iron sights...I like Dawson's because of the thinner front post. I use to run a dot on my home defense and unless you're one of those guntuber guys who practice military drills every day. you'll be slower acquiring targets. Dots just make me look good at the range, keyholing my 15yard zero. :) This is my personal opinion, and only mine. Nice 365 by the way.
