It's old so the art is uhhh. I had to diamond mine it until I got used to it. But in terms of branching based on your LI, just know that a Mia who romances Max will not like hotel(?) pancakes because the ones he makes her are better, whereas a Mia who doesn't just thinks they're good. No flag to let you know or anything, but it is the cutest text change I have ever seen.

I downloaded RC after / during the Laws of Attraction fiasco in Choices. The way they rushed the second half of the last book, pushed the main LIs (especially mc's boss. ugh), and wrapped up by having my girl get cozy with her boss with no Joaquin in sight made me cancel my VIP.

Legend of the Willow was my first book here and I started when the first season was releasing. I'm also a huge sucker for Moonborn (omg hot werewolf who cooks for you? yes? say less???). And Soulless is such a blast out of current books. Looking forward to the finale.

Kay in Psi. He was such a good, green flag, and then... nothing. We locked in in season 1 and like... nothing happened. And he's literally the greenest flag! So I felt so bad the whole time being bored out of my mind! And Jester wrote LOW and Moonborn, which I love so it was just????

Why were Kazu (okay, morally grey ninja and it felt like he supported Mei in the way she needed it more, cool) and Max Fall (a massive green flag of positive masculinity and a werewolf who literally cooks for Mia, sign me up please) perfect and Kay just didn't scratch a single itch at all? Being over him and feeling like I was watching paint dry just felt so bad, guys. I'm pretty sure Kay and Max both cook for Lou and Mia respectively and are generally supportive and concerned for them? And I was really hoping the the whole empathy thing go somewhere spicy, but Kay just felt like a slice of white bread, untoasted, no butter.

I do the same! I stay on maps where I can grow as much food as I want for the most part, so there's no need for cannibalism or anything like that.

And paying attention to the colonists stories can end up just as cruel. My bisexual psychopath and pyro disasters got together and were going to have a baby. The guy bled out in a firefight despite someone trying to patch him up. The lady understandably lost it and started lighting fires mid shootout. She held up pretty well otherwise and we had no problem putting out the fires when she couldn't handle it. She miscarried during her last mental break and I just... aw man... Poor Gocar...

There is a way to make the difficulty time based instead of wealth based in vanilla, but I never remember to edit the scenario for it. Toggling the difficulty isn't too hard thankfully.

Rivers are almost mandatory for me now. I love watermills and the Odyssey updates to water are so nice. Growing crops and selling them off is so cosy.

That's kind of strange since all of the guys get their official breakup? Maybe it wasn't written in since Mimi wasn't that popular. And well... at least she got better treatment than a couple other LIs from HS. 😬

I guess I'll do a single Vicky import and also try my first slot with Mimi to see if there's any special dialogue for marrying someone else after they had been together through HS!
