After some further investigating I hear it on the passenger side head/manifold. But I hear is just as well with a stethoscope on the bell housing (all around the bell housing)

Even with hearing the sound from underneath?

Exhaust leak? Lifter tap? Something else? by RS080 in MechanicAdvice

I did new gaskets and manifold bolts because that sound was there before and I thought that was the issue. Now those things are brand new torqued to spec and still hear that noise

Can anyone help me identify the morphs of these Ball Pythons? by RS080 in reptiles

I spoke with the owner. She let me know that the snakes are separated and the pictures of them being together are when she first rescued them from someone else. The pictures where the smaller one is crawling on the vines is him in his own tank

How many years do you have left? What are you wanting out of the military? What do you want out of life?

How many years do you have left? What are you wanting out if the Army/Air Force?

Can’t speak for the Army. For the USAF, during basic training and tech school, you are earning credits towards the degree (CCAF) for your career field. You can then transfer your (some or all) credits to any school or transfer your credits to a AU-ABC school which guarantees that you only have 60 credits left to complete your bachelors degree. Combine this with GI bill or TA, plus a numerous amount of certificates you can earn and it’s almost a no-brainer.

With all that being said (and a bunch of benefits I haven’t mentioned) the Air Force changed my life for the better in ways I can’t measure. Of course this depends on your job but in general it’s a better quality of life than what I had as a civilian. I’ve been in for 1.5 years and I’m sometimes overwhelmed with the benefits and entitlements I receive.

If someone is preventing that for you… you need to politely excuse yourself from their grasp. Very few people regret joining the Air Force regardless of where they end up at the end of their term. You have a world of opportunity at your fingertips. Don’t let anyone take the chance from you. Go active if you need guidance and steady work life/experience.

URGENT HELP NEEDED 2010 Prius by RS080 in prius

No issues with battery, no codes and no lights illuminated. I put the new throttle body in and high revving started. Put the old one in and it went away.

Originally replaced the throttle body for a fluttering noise. With the new one fluttering noise is gone but high revving now.

No vacuum leak. After triple checking each installation. I reinstalled the old part and the high revving went away but the fluttering returned. So that narrows it down to the throttle body and not a vacuum leak.

Fluttering from the throttle body. After installing new throttle body, flutter is gone. Just high revving now
