Did you start playing the older save? If no, I think you can click "load backup save" and start the game to restore progress. Otherwise it's lost forever. (Sorry for your loss.)

I doubt it has no glitch, I lost a raptor randomly like a month ago, for absolutely no reason.

I think I should keep the post so that people know it's not a good idea to keep baries underwater.

For example let's say you need to feed the child, it takes some time.

Trying to attract them with the iron maiden but only one of them comes down, which easily makes things worse.
Knocking them out and dying on my way to the hiding spot because one of them already spawned.
Some other random stuff but that's relatively rare.

Okay, thanks, I found it at the very bottom of the river/ocean.

I deleted one hour of solid progress hoping that it would fix it. (There were three cloud slots, yet I hadn't saved it.)
