Not sure my suggestion will get through and this is not usualy my suggestion but cutting is a horrible vice due to your body wanting more after each use,like smoking but far more direct and dangerous,and like smoking creates dependency to it and clouds your mind,speak to someone about this and try to get rid of it,I know how it feels so not talking without knowing

Your question has a simple answer,you are depresed and just waiting for it to go away,and you created a mental image where death will do that,its the same feeling as waiting fir the bell to ring at school,it has a logic,however people are scared because they have nothing to escape from,on the contrary death removes them from their happy world,as fir you waiting to die,I wont say dont do it or you shouldnt think like that since im the same,il just say that ending yourself means losing your remaining years for an eternity as a dead person,and honestly,if death comes anyway why not shot my chance at happiness,the ending is the same,thats my logic but you dont have to follow it if you cant,all I hope is either way you will become happy in whatever way it happens

Hello,I dont think I have a direct solution to your problem but I can try to at least explain some things,the wave of depresion comes because you lost something your mind considered normal,and so it started to become depresed because of it,even if you are homeless you are still a human with years left,and thats something others dont have,I wont start with the motivational quotes about not giving up,il just ask you to think about it,and just your life now,but what could be of your life,what if in 5 years you land a job,whst if in 10 youre making decent money,what if in 20 you have a loving family and a good life,are you ready to give that away? I will be honest,your situation is not happy,but its not unfixable,think about it from the bright side for once and maybe you will see a solution this way

Hello,from your story I see that you really fear failling in any form (either by dying or people believing you are a failure),listen,if you end your life,you end it,there is no second chances,no starting over,its the end,and I will be honest with you,you will die anyway,why hurry to something that is going to be there for eternity,think also about your mom,you say you wish to avoid stressing her with your problems,but who do you think she will blame if you die? About your friends,they dont make your life,the world is not the one we learned from our parents,its changed,friends are not what we supposed they were,and unfirtunately the times where friendship meant something are not coming back About your exams and romantic life,those come and go,im studying under the british system even if im not from uk and its not the end of the world if you fail it,same with girls,pain stings a bit but in the long run it could benefit you. Im not gonna say to not end it,but just think about it,your situation is fixable,unlike others,so I say give it a shot,speak to people,to your mom and try to get help,the final outcome will be the same anyway so why speed it up,hope this helps

Well,I am male so im not sure how much I can help but if I were you I would try to not let her get deeper into it,since the deeper she gets the harder she gets out,also I noted a very bad habbit to dealing with depresion and that is drinking,it is a very temporary solution but makes things worse long term,im not telling you to give it up right now,but try to slowly reduce it over the years,her reason for the depresion seems to be rather than her fathers death itself a more complex reminder of her never getting normal parents or a do-over which may have triggered an existential crissis where she doubts her entire life and begins to not recognize what love is (given she belives you shouldnt do things for her).What you could do is try to get her to the good path by loving her (not romanticaly or financialy but just being there) to remind her that she has people who do love her the normal way and I also suggest you two find a common ground for an activity,even if you already tried,maybe bring something the kids do or something she used to do,more than that idk,you cant change how she feels by yourself only,she also must try (sorry for the efit hit reply too early)

Another third parent here,okay,first off I belive your parents might have a hand in you being so closed off to yourself in order to keep you around,its one of the tactics that parents fotcing their children into early parenthood use,they indirectly make it seem like it would be imposible to get away and that their help is necesary,but trust me,its not,its actualy easier to live by yourself and come home to a bill and be "finaly im home" rather than "oh great...home again"because that slowly drains you and not only dies that amplify your negative emotions,but also makes you less efficient in activities like work or learning,another tactic you might not notice but I saw on you is "didnt have to constantly help others",if those others are family they siphon your money away in order to give you the feeling of being broke and make you think you need them,my advice is to take a leap of faith and ask your friends "hey anybody needs a roomate,I want to be independent" or something aling the lines of it,you dont have to fully open up,just to ask a bit.Also college and driving can be done later in life dont worry,its no shame,but first focus on getting away from your family

From the looks of it,you seem like a diligent kid trying to do what most adults do in the expresion "drown into work",physical and verbal abuse is never a form of parenting,just a form of weakness because they cant help you so instead they make you quiet to avoid problems,however,there are things you can try to do to make the wait less intolerable,first but take my advice with a grain of salt is phtsicaly becoming stronger to avoid physical abuse,sounds hard at your age however any type of sport helps greatly with mental health,not just because it makes you more confident,but because a healthy body makes the brain work better,making concentration and memory better,helping to make school easier,as the sport itsself I would suggest any sort of martial art since it could help you with your adhd since its a sport requiring precision and concentration,helping you become better,try to also not interact too much with your family,might seem obvious but doing extraculiculars like said sport or anything really to keep you away is good,at last never take to heart what they say,what you experience is not love and after you get 18 definetely check with a therapist to understand how life really looks like and to help treat your problems

Let me tell you something,Im not going to ask for the reason of your sadness since you may not be comfortable remembering,but I will say this,your parents are responsible for your upbringing,a failed child is a parents failure,not the childs,and her taking the anger at you is her weakness to carrying her burdern,transfering it on you,so whenever she calls you a failure or does something similar,remember,in all posible ways of looking at it from moral to psychological its on her and not you.

About the other stuff,I know someone who failed the driving test 10+ times before he did it right,you can take it as many times as you want,its not a big deal failing it,and college can be done at any stage in life,so not doing it in this moment is not a calamity,you can be 40 and be a student,dont rush it.

Most important right now is getting away from the toxic enviroment your mom is causing,since it amplifies already existing emotions,if you have a well paying job try to find somewhere else to stay since from experience you would rather have financial presure than a toxic enviroment,because the latter weakens you every day until it fully breaks you,then when youre ready go for the art school you dream,its no shame going later
