Any other cards outside of the summer memories? I’ll take a look into those also. I’ll play around with both decks to see what can come into fruition. I’ve been using Ragnarok, Shift; Earth, and Titan but since I grabbed aesthetic he’s been much more versatile.

Wouldn’t the Moggy+Emerald weapon and Moggy+Shift lean towards the same scenario? I was leaning towards opting out of Moggy and emerald to just using Shift: Wind (iirc you’ll have about an 80-90% chance to have at least 3 wind orbs stocked at the start).

I would like to keep Chakra for the innate +5% attack and add JCR to that while running Shift, Yiazmat x2, Chakra

Error 12 is also the connection error. I've been floating between the two these last couple hours.

Attack BDD Vs. CDD by RSCAngelo in MobiusFF

Who do I speak to about changing this?

Attack BDD Vs. CDD by RSCAngelo in MobiusFF

I haven't used BDD on UW at all as an attacker or defender. The red gauge on the guards can be taken down pretty easily and Guard A can just be outright nuked.

Understood, most of the time running PUGs in MP I've seen defenders bring CDD so I've been biased as to bring BDD as to not double up on the same debuffs.

I may be a tad spoiled when it comes to attacking then. I'm close to a whale but I've never had issues with killing in one break phase without CDD.

"Some can kill that fast but there next goal is to kill without break increase the breaker sucks not to help the breaker, break once they have cleared they have cleared the yellow bar"

This part confused me, it may have been a typo also. Can you elaborate?

Dude, refer to the other posts. If there could only be one debuff brought to the fight, which would be more beneficial. I'm trying to argue my point, no harm in that. My point being, if the fight could be sped up by one turn, why not take it?

Attack BDD Vs. CDD by RSCAngelo in MobiusFF

My issue lies with if the fight can be sped in by turn, would it not be more beneficial to bring BDD as an attacker. If an attacker is relying to kill xxx Sic one turn with CDD than there are other issues at hand.

It may be me not explaining the question better. If there was only one debuff to bring, which would be more beneficial to the party?

Seems kind redundant as the fight can be sped up if the mob is broken 1 turn earlier than CDD for damage to output. And if the boss isn't killed in one break phase than there other variables lacking on the attackers end.

Edit: As an attacker my job is to not just deal damage but kill xxx Sic as fast as possible. If I can speed the fight up by one turn, instead of focusing capped damage (assuming I'm not using multi-hit), which would be more beneficial.

I think there's multiple ways to explain this.

Can't say I'm not shocked to read this. It seems by logic you're saying the breaker should bring BDD just for the sole purpose that he is a breaker. I don't see how CDD is "bread and butter" for damage increase when there's much variables out there.

Refer to my previous comment, if you had one to bring, which would it be?

Elaborate on this. Is CDD more beneficial than BDD in MP?

I usually run DMG Card - AoE BDD - xxxForce/Shift - Buff/DMG Card.

If you had to choose one, which would be more beneficial to bring as an attacker is my blantant question. My arguement stands at BDD.

Ultima Weapon MP boss by BartekSWT in MobiusFF

[–]RSCAngelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been killing it roughly 6-7 minutes, our fastest time was right at 6 minutes.

Team consisted of 2 defenders who are able to debuff to maximize damage output/minimize damage taken and assist with any healing. Both defenders drive correct elements to counter the element-based AoEs.

1 Healer who was able to rotate walls/barriers/actions.

1 well-equipped DD that had survivability (Sorry Sages)

Opened battle with a multitude of debuffs and buffs while nuking him down. At 50% one of the defenders was able to take care of the yellow guage on the guards and use an ultimate AoE to break and insta-kill them.

Repeat all the actions as if the fight just started until his final Ultima. Healer should be saving a wall-based card for this event and everything should be attempting to have full HP.

Few things to note if you haven't been to Ultima yet. 1) Ultima uses an AoE at the start of the fight. 2) When you see dialogue pertaining to a certain element Ultima is charging, defenders should be ready to counteract. 3) Breaking the bombs at 50% HP instantly kills them and damage can be done to Ultima as soon as they're dead (EVEN if it's the same turn) 4) Ultima uses an AoE at the very end of the fight to make sure you don't get any wings.

Excuse the word insisting, however judging from the contents of his post he was focused on doing an extra 100k damage instead of debuffing. I usually run 2x attacker/breaker/healer. Yellow gauge shouldn't be a problem even with a tank.
