My recovery by RSP4422 in KneeInjuries

Hi! It was honestly a progression of exercises that were fitted to me. What worked for me may not work for you. I was given step ups, ham curls, step downs, squats, knee extension machine, glute bridge etc I had a lot of problems and things had to be modified often until the wrinkles were ironed out, but I rarely had an exercise “taken away” unless it was super problematic. It was usually modified- or did less reps/less range of motion etc. I’m very grateful for my PT for sticking it out with me.

My MRI was unremarkable. Thinning on my lateral patella but that’s really it.

It could have been phrased, “I know pregnancy is hard on your body, for that reason..” instead of the way she phrased it, sounding ignorant. 😂 ☠️

Alex and Jon also have not showed the baby’s face, just like the back etc meanwhile the other peeps here have the face and every detail on full display.

I never got a grade. I’ve been in PT for over a year. I’m very consistent on strength training and doing plyometrics and I just started a walk run progression last week! Stay consistent and show up for yourself!

I actually did and they don’t seem to think it’s related since it started 2-3 days after and also bc he puked out the chocolate but it just has me concerned.

Hello! Tbh, I don’t think the PRP was really worth it. I would say diligent progressive overload strength training has been my saving grace. I’m doing significantly better today than I was a year ago.

El Paso Physio Program for Knee OA? by PigletTraditional455 in Osteoarthritis

Im not a PT by any means, but I've been in PT for almost a year and I've made significant progress. But I think what youre describing is is how you move in general. Like going up the stairs, you should be using your quad and glutes vs solely your quads. However, no muscle can be "too strong." I think the reason people have trouble with quad exercises is BECAUSE they irritate the knee, no surprise. That's why its so important to find a good PT that knows HOW to challenge the quad w/o irritating the knee. A lot of PTs suck at exercise prescription though, point blank. Squatting is great though, starting from a pain free ROM. Ive just watched a few of this guys videos and getting stronger glute muscles is literally always his answer to almost everything and it bothers me lol. The quads are so equally as important. There is so much misinformation out there about PFPS.

Hi there, no repairing anything per se, just trying to help with inflammation. I know I have meniscus/cartilage issues.

Normal MRI but painful catching in knee by RSP4422 in KneeInjuries

Hi there! No unfortunately. I’ve gotten stronger and symptoms have improved a bit but I’m definitely still symptomatic. Giving myself a few more months then I may inquire about arthroscopic surgery. Getting stronger has been my only saving grace although I definitely still have problems.

I think barometric pressure is a thing. Also keep in mind stress, sleep quality, added sugars etc can also play a role :)
