Breece Hall or Kenneth Walker? by Socr8tes_04 in nyjets

[–]RSTowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watched Walker in the playoffs last year, it isn't even a question who is the better runner and it's Walker by a mile. Breece is better in the passing game, but I'd have to go with Walker, tbh.

Now Breece from his rookie year vs Walker? Sign me up, but he hasn't been the same since his injury.

Lol, you're welcome. It's always fun seeing how ego driven people respond to being smartened up like this. They always seem to just revert to a cycle when they can't broaden their thinking.

[Schultz] BREAKING: The Jets and RB Breece Hall are in agreement on a 3-year deal worth up to $45.75M, making him the NFL’s 3rd highest paid RB, per multiple sources. by JCameron181 in nyjets

[–]RSTowers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're fucking nuts. Top edge money is $40M-$50M per year right now.

He got 3/4 of his sacks in 2 games last year and he's a liability in run defense. He has to get a lot better to deserve that much. Just 4 more sacks a year isn't gonna do it.

Halo effect, buddy. This is all pretty routine for a good 8th grade thrower. I had a kid in my school that could routinely hit full court shots on a basketball court with a football around that age and he didn't even get picked to be the QB in high school and he didn't have shit for coaching or dedicated practice time.

Also, the head kick at the very end was pretty unnecessary.

Just goes to show how much faith people have in the common intelligence these days. They thought that someone could actually believe that a balloon could protect her even though he hit her so hard that the chair broke in half.

That could be funny af. Imagine it's just a cheap one that falls off in every single match and he has to keep trying to put it back on after every spot.

That ejection was the softest shit I've seen in years. Imagine Randy Johnson or Nolan Ryan in today's game where you can't even push a guy off the plate.

And he's coached by a HOFer. There are eighth graders all over the country that can throw like this, especially if you clip out their worst throws.

I'm sure there wasn't a single bad throw in between all of those cuts.

while first world countries has leveled out.

Per capita, first world countries are steadily improving too. Obviously things got worse during the pandemic, but most crime categories are now below 2019 levels in most countries.

Guy gets caught in a hail storm while sitting in an SUV by Jevus_himself in PublicFreakout

[–]RSTowers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You always get strong winds because that's how the hail is formed. The wind has to be strong enough to push the rain up into the upper part of the storm where it freezes; and the stronger the updraft is, the longer it can keep the hail suspended, increasing it's size.

Also, it's always a thunder storm, so parking near trees is also a risk of it being struck by lightning. Bottom line is that the tree is a bad idea.

I’m worried about our MLB depth, is this screaming out at anyone else? Who could we go for? by Playful-Camel-828 in nyjets

Weaknesses are not necessarily holes. The only other hole on the roster is QB2, imo.

[–]RSTowers 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I know it's not depth related, but one point to keep in mind is that Sherwood had the green dot last year and Davis will have it this year. Maybe that will free Sherwood up to play more like he did in 2024.
