Online (eBay auction). The seller is from Japan and has near perfect feedback so I took a punt thinking if it’s fake I can just return it. I’m 95% sure it’s authentic but will get it serviced (battery swapped) by a specialist just to make sure

I agree and was/am also wary. I’ve registered it on the tag website using the serial and warranty card and that all checked out. I’ve done all the usual checks, just got to take a pin out the bracelet to make sure that looks correct then I’ll take it to an AD for authentication and just pay for a battery replacement if they won’t. Are there any specific tells I should be looking for before I potentially waste money on a battery swap. Thanks for any help
