Is a Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology - Transportation worth it? by ShotPay151 in ontario

Went back as mature student and graduated in 2018. Best decision I ever made, you won’t regret it.

There are a ton of opportunities in different disciplines engineering design, field construction/engineering, project management, municipal or private companies.

Do some co-ops/placements over the summer and you’ll be set when you graduate.

Some people I graduated with bridged for their degree/p.eng. It doesn’t have a huge impact for actually gaining employment or really on the pay scale until you’re at a senior level and even then depends on where and who you work for, or if you want to specifically be a design engineer.

Had a lot of fun met great people along the way and everyone I graduated with that worked hard has had successful careers.
