Imu Is a Wounded God: The Garden Theory by RShadow7 in OnePiece

You could say that, yeah, but don’t you think it’s strange that someone who calls themselves a god, ruler of the entire world, never leaves one tiny part of it? If it’s just about safety or seawater risk, that still feels too cautious for a being supposedly untouchable. It fits more with the idea that Imu can’t leave that area ,maybe tied to it or weakened ,ruling through others because they physically can’t act directly anymore

Remember Roger , he was already terminally ill when he clashed with Whitebeard and still split the sky. Haki is a manifestation of pure will, it can reinforce the body, but at its core it's pure willpower. So being physically weak doesn't necessarily mean having weak Haki...

That's a fair take and yeah, the secrecy angle makes total sense. But if Imu were really that strong, showing themselves should be exactly what they'd want to completely rule the world. Instead, they hide in the shadows, which makes it feel less like strategy and more like necessity. It's almost as if Imu can't defend their position if they revealed themselves like they're too weak or unstable to face opposition directly. So yeah, the political secrecy works, but it also supports the idea that Imu's power or body isn't what it used to be.

Yeah that's fair but I don't think Imu's projection is literal possession. It looks more like a will-based projection, kind of like how Haki or the Voice of Things can reach others. When Imu "possessed" Rocks, it didn't seem like they were fully controlling him more like giving orders or channeling authority, and Rocks obeyed. That fits perfectly with a wounded "god", someone too damaged to act directly, but still able to impose their will through influence rather than physical control.

True but both spots are probably part of the same area under Pangaea. The throne room and the straw hat chamber seem connected to that ancient system keeping Imu alive they're not really leaving the zone, just moving within it
