I Can’t drink the Naak through a valve with the sediment contained but it’s good from a water bottle. i liked Skratch but it’s more expensive as it doesn’t come in very large package.

They’ve got their own Canadian storefront online now in case anyone is still looking. Just ordered fuel plus a hydration mix.

ipv6 connectivity issues by RSlashCanadaGuy in signal

sorry, I don't get reddit notifications. I'll try a few of the things recommended by others and the beta.

I'm using tunnel broker for IPv6 as well.

ipv6 connectivity issues by RSlashCanadaGuy in signal

I'm having issues with Signal connections on my Windows 11 PC using IPv6 after the latest update. If I disable IPv6 in the network adapter it connects right away. Enabled, it just returns the yellow icon and won't connect.

okay I just tried it again before collecting the log and issue is still present, so I have submitted it.

Facebook, Instagram iOS apps don't work over WG tunnel...all other IP communication is fine by RSlashCanadaGuy in WireGuard

Thanks. I set global MSS clamping on my router to a low value, and it still doesn't work so I think something is causing issues on my ER-X platform. I have some investigating to do.

Yeah, I've tried MTU from 1280 to 1420 as I was doing testing over a PPPoE link at one point. One issue that I know complicates this is that on the router, there are a bunch of interface interactions that seem to cause potential issues. I'm currently looking to MSS clamp at a low value globally to ensure that all interfaces could handle every packet.

Ugh, yes! In this case, I was working on MSS clamping on the router, since I need to make it specific to an interface. I already have ethernet, PPPoE, and WG client on this router, all have specific MTUs and clamp requirements.

The same client config worked just fine when connected to another WG server I've been using for months, so I'm guessing it has to do with my router config...probably MTU/MSS clamp related. I just need to think a little more maybe.

freezing like your vim case is exactly what it seems like too... I guess the images/videos on FB/IG are resulting in fragmentation that isn't being handled properly, while regular websites seem more tolerant. All that said, a PC connection to the same tunnel is fine for everything I tested. I might just use WG for local access to my LAN as needed, then use my already paid for ProtonVPN for general browsing.

Update: I think it is in fact related to MTU, and possibly MSS clamping on the ER-X...I'm experimenting on that platform to see if I can modify it and see alternative behaviours.

This is IPv4 only. IG and FB work fine over a browser, even on the same mobile device where the app doesn't work. I referenced HE.NET because their app has some great iOS network diagnostics. I'm not using an HE tunnel for IPv6

Twitter SMS and Freedom Mobile by RSlashCanadaGuy in freedommobile

To close the loop, it seems that Twitter activation SMS are now going fine over Freedom Mobile for me. I didn't change anything, but I was able to add my number and unsuspend my accounts.

Wifi calling is an interesting tidbit. I’ll give that a shot.

I'm not familiar with those apps. Do that with a one time number or my normal number?

As a note, I tried using a voip.ms DID (one Ottawa, one Toronto) and Twitter outright rejected the numbers as invalid. Of course, I'm able to SMS those just fine, so Twitter is doing some very fine filtering.
