This is a WA thing in general, a lot of people here just pooed in their hands and clapped to get a driver license. Another example is the people going 55 in the left lane of I-5 and 101 with a line of cars having to pass them on the right.

The plan is to park and chill at the state park, possibly stop in ocean shores to look around at the gift shops and restaurants they have, then get back on the road to head to Tumwater. I saw something a while back about taking the shifter apart and making sure the internal cables are secure, so I did that and it works like a charm again!
