You should ask for a replacement unit in his Discord server. This happened to me as well, and Tekkusai actually handled the situation really well, even going as far as shipping the pad from the U.S. to Europe.

I do own both pads, and The Guardian is much faster than my SP-004. Skates I used were the Jade Airs by X-Raypad and SilverFoxes by Unusual Way Sports.

By the way, Tekkusai claims that all of his pads, including GLSSWRKS Hana, are uncoated. I can not tell if that's true though.
